Loved this cozy place! Tried it in Bath once and my friends and I had a good meal so went to the one in Notts for their chilli oil prawns and bread was as good as the the cod and chips we had before! Friendly staff and glad that someone directed us there in Bath when we were on a uni trip đ hungry and lost lol.
We sat amongst a dozen or so alfresco diners, toasting our faces and our Chablis. The waiter was that âhard-to-come-byâ perfect combination of friendly & helpful but still in the background enough to allow us to enjoy each otherâs company without interruption. We shared the usual bread & olives to start, along with a crab & grapefruit salad and crab cakes with the zingiest orange dipping sauc
I am somewhat fond of the Loch Fyne Restuarant in Nottingham, even though it is part of a small nationwide chain, the food is still well sourced and usually of good quality. I have only been to the one in Nottingham so cannot compare it to any of the others, and I have been to Loch Fyne itself, the Loch that is not the original resturant location, and so feel some affinity, or was that a shiver from a half remembered dip into the icy waters of that loch during a summer trip? On occasion we will push the boat out in this establishment and order off the a la carte menu, but more often than not we will settle for the two courses for 9.95 option as it usually contains something that I fancy anyway. That was to be the case on this visit, as it looked good value and there were things there that I was keen to try, all to be washed down with an accidental glass of Chardonnay. For a starter I went against my usual tradition in this resturant of getting the â Smoked Ashetâ and instead I opted fo
Relaxed atmosphere very friendly jane has a wonderful personality the rest of the staff are lovely too. Would 100% recommend this lovely place. So different for a Sunday! đ€
Best sea food in town...cosy place.... very friendly staff.... booking recommended in advance....bit overpriced for the amount of food.... good quality of food
Lovely foods, wide variety of dishes, professional & friendly staff, good location, & reasonable price
There are few better seafood restaurants in Nottingham than Loch Fyne Seafood restaurant. It is located on King street in the city centre, and the interior is nice and rustic with lots of natural light. They have an excellent wine list at good prices and the menu is extensive with a good range of seafood. They have both an a la carte menu and a set menu, as well as a divine dessert menu. Don't miss their signature crÚme brûlée.
my fiance and new born came in they staff were very helpful in arranging a table to suit are needs with a pram and the food was amazing, great wine!!
Always love Loch Fyne. The staff are all knowledgable about the fayre. Service was little slow but thoroughly enjoyed our meal
Always fresh and delicious. Staff really knowledgeable about the food. Been second time, worth every penny.
Very good food, lots of choices. The fishes were very fresh.
Excellent service and amazing food. Will definitely be going back
My fave restaurant, amazing fresh sea food. It's always good every time I go... And ive been a fair few times! If you love oysters this is the place for you
We come here on a regular basis and always receive great service and the food is excellent.
Fantastic service and the food was second to non. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to try top quality sea food cuisine.
First time visiting the restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised by the food. Service was quick and the food quality was amazing. Our experience was made by a waitress named Jane. Super attentive, friendly and even knew my dietary requirements with ease. She deserves a lot more recognition as she went above and beyond. Will definitely come back again! :)
Went there for a birthday meal and came away very pleasantly happy ! Tables clean and well presented, attentive and friendly staff but above all very good food.
All courses arrived promptly and were flavoursome and well cooked. Portion sizes were good and although a little pricey it's nice for a 'treat' meal out.
We will definitely be going back to sample more of the menu :-)
Tried taster night, good food and good service
Great quality of food. One of my favourite restaurants in Nottingham.
