Fothergills - Nottingham - Photo album

We visited Nottingham Castle for the afternoon and wanted an early dinner. After seeing reviews on trip advisor we decided to try them out. Service was friendly and made some great recommendations. We tried the herb and goat cheese souffle, steak and ale pie, the fish and chips and the raspberry an
Just arrived from USA and was ready for lunch. Harts hotel recommended Fothergill’s. We popped into this charming restaurant and thought it was very quaint. Unaware of Nottingham cuisine we asked the waiter Sam, recommendations for food and drinks. Sam recommended the beef pot pie, pint of ale and a
Had a lovely Christmas dinner with my work! The food was really nice I had the risotto. They were very accommodating by taking the pork out of it for dietary reasons. I also really appreciated the points that were poured and it was in the branded glass. Jamie was a lovely waiter even though he wante
Lovely and delicious food. We had fish pie, risoto and they have kids menu (sausage and smash potatoes)
Shaky start but all resolved by our wonderful hostess, Simone. We booked on Wednesday, a table for 4 for Saturday evening, when we arrived our table was a high bar table which wasn't suitable for us so Simone quickly diverted us to another area which was perfect. We had already perused the menu on W
Lovely pub/restaurant. Had a three course meal here with wine which was lovely. All the girls who served us were very nice and the food was really good. Well done Fothergills two happy customers.
Amazing staff, incredible food, brilliant location. My wife and I attended a wine paired meal which was easily the best we’ve had. Terrific place. Highly recommended
Cute & well run eatery with a good selection of mains. I had Fench onion soup & lambs liver both were excellent. There is a more limited menu for a lower fixed price & rhus seemed popular, but for the extra few quid, I'd suggest ordering what you want
Was recommended to come to Fothergills by a waiter from another restaurant and no lies were told. I came for my first Sunday Roast and it was absolutely delicious and amazing. I specifically ordered the pork belly. The atmosphere speaks for itself and the service was friendly and helpful getting us
Incredible Sunday roast dinner, maybe even the best one I've ever had.
Our first visit to Nottingham. We were recommended to visit Fothergills, which we did after visiting the Castle. We wanted a late lunch/early dinner, Thanks to Sam and Jude we were made very welcome. Great service and good food, some unusual choices on the menu.
Lovely place for a good Sunday roast. Staff were friendly and service was quick. My roast was very tasty and had loads of different elements. Lovely view of the castle too. Will definitely be back!
I have had the pleasure of dining at Fothergills in Nottingham on several occasions and each visit has left me thoroughly satisfied. As a frequent patron, I must commend the establishment for consistently delivering an exceptional dining experience. First and foremost, the quality of the food at Fo
Service was brilliant, they couldn't be more helpful. The beer was spot on. Didn't have food but it smelled divine.
Service is top draw, very impressed. Food pricey for what it was, but guess your paying for what you get. Great location and service.
Went for a meal with colleagues after work, who had various needs. The food was great and the the team are very friendly and flexible
I very rarely give reviews on restaurants because there are so many variables but we went on a Monday at 4pm in winter an we walked in it was very cosy and warm. Nice atmosphere. The food was fantastic. You forget how good these independents can be .
Very chilled area beside the Robin Hood statue. Lovely staff and great food. Two course meal for £20 is a nice touch.
