Came as part of a group, food was tasty and the menu had lots of choice. Nothing spectacular but filled me up, mozzarella sticks were a highlight. Arcade machines were great, mixture of token machines and 2p machines. Would recommend for the interesting cocktails also!

10quid for tokens got us a few fun games and I would recommend going for the ice hockey which is good fun.
Beer selection isn't great, but it's a place to play some games and have fun for a few hours.
The cocktails are really nice and tasty with a wide variety to choose from. There are some sweet options that are original and feel like desserts in a glass!
The food is also pretty good. Their small plates like the Brie wedges, Halloumi fries and sweet potato fries are very good, not too oily and pretty tasty! I personally was not entirely satisfied with the sandwich as I found the baguette bread quite dry.
The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is really nice both for a meal during the day or drinks in the evening. Good retro music and a lot of fun arcade games! It’s worth checking out!

Great place for young people and also for older people who don't want to grow old gracefully. Atmosphere inside is fabulous. Some of the slots took me back to my childhood and that's a long time ago. Staff very helpful and more than pleased to ensure you have a great time. Food excellent and served quickly.
Amazing staff and amazing venue. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The machines are from the 80s and add so much character to the bar! One took the token and didn't work and one of the staff members come over like here's some tokens for the inconvenience which was so lovely I didn't even expect that and felt bad taking them! What a lovely lady. Drinks were amazing and tasted great too.
Very cool place, not busy and cheap prices. Music was on point, really liked the variety of games and the nostalgia effect. Wish we had one in my home town as would venture here regularly. Cocktails were tasty an 2 for 1. Order via website
I went to Penny Lane for the first time with family, and we had a great time. We just went for cocktails, but the service was great and the cocktails were great. We went on a Sunday night (where it was Happy Hour), so 2 for 1 on all cocktails.
Lots of seating, friendly staff, and also there are arcade games towards the back of the seating area.
I would certainly visit again, and next time try the food as well!
Great idea. Kids love an arcade when on holiday, but why wait until then? Parents can relax with a drink whilst the kids play the slots, air hockey, table football, table ice hockey, basketball, outrun and such like. Food is pretty standard fare (burgers etc.) but what else would you want? It's all reasonably priced and not just aimed at the kid market, with pitchers of cocktails on offer as well as a good choice of beers and spirits.

What a cute little restaurant.
Must admit, if I hadnt have gotten a rave review from a friend, I wouldn't have expected much, but I had the highest of hopes.
Penny Lane lived up to those expectations.
The food is reasonably priced and was delicious. I had 3 "small" plates; Meatballs/Jerk Popcorn Chicken/Sticky Chicken Skewers and some sweet potato fries (I judge all restaurants on their sweet potato fries).
Everything was perfectly crispy where it needed to be, tender and sauces well.
Be warned, the plates may say "small" but I wouldn't say they were. The extra fries were not required (but again delicious).
2 cocktails for 9.99. What great value. Fruity and sour and ice cold. Just what is needed for a summer evening.
The games in the back are a fun throw back, I had an enjoyable evening challenging my friends to air hockey, basketball and skee ball. Along with some of the usual arcade games.
The only thing, and it is a small thing, letting this place down is a lack of more variety of games. A shooting game, and perhaps another cheaper game, would complete the set.
Overall a fantastic place for a few hours.
10/10 would recommend.
If you want to have some fun, this is the place to go! Amazing drinks that are delivered in a really cute appearance. Table service available by just simply scanning the QR code and ordering to the table which makes things so much easier. Inside are also arcade machines and not just your modern traditional ones but old ones too. To play, you simply purchase tokens which are £1 each and then go play to your heart's content. If you are going on a first date, this is definitely the place to go!
We had a great Saturday afternoon here. The food was amazing, the burgers were huge and delicious. I had a hard time picking which hot dog to get and it was more than enough for us all to eat.
We had a lot of fun on the games and the staff were all very friendly. It got busier about 1pm as we were coming to the end of our time, but we had a lot of fun.
We played in the derby race as a family, but some adults jumped on at the last second and beat our children in seconds. We were a bit upset about it so I talked to the staff as we were paying who was very understanding. To my surprise as we were leaving he gifted the children some really nice toys to say sorry for the derby experience. I never got his name, but thank you for cheering the kids up and making me feel better after dining out for 5 players at the derby.
I really like the asthetic of this bar. It's not too pricey for a cocktail bar, I would say it's a mid range bar on the price/fanciness. The only thing I would say is that if your buying drinks and playing games the games should be cheaper. Otherwise you end up paying so much on playing games. £1 per token in a bar, I fell it should be 50p and would encourage more use of the games too. Otherwise had a great time, staff are very professional and cocktail selection is exciting.
the cocktails are an experience! food was great too. it was quiet when we went so we felt as though the service could’ve been a little bit more attentive. arcade part of it is super fun!
