Situated in a wonderful woodland setting Perkins has nice atmosphere of a country restaurant. Great restaurant and food which is very tasty and is well presented. Definitely go back.
What can I say but we have had the most amazing Mothers Day meal here today!
First time here for me my daughter chose well.
Every thing was first classic can't remember the last time I ate such amazing food and in beautiful surroundings with attentive professional staff it was like how restaurants used to be and should be.
Iv just been told by my partner he has already booked us in for Sunday lunch in two weeks time so I'm very happy well done Perkins fantastic in every way x
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here today for our tenth Nottingham wedding anniversary. We came on a recommendation from my parents who are known to have very high standards, and we were not disappointed! Absolutely sublime food, efficient friendly service and didn't break the bank too much. Beautiful rural location, so nice to get out of the city. Can't wait to return!

Had a brilliant stay here in The Great Oak hut. With an amazing 3 course meal and house bottle of wine. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The stay in the hut was very cosy and warm. We had a relaxing bath and chilled for the rest of the evening after our dinner. Got up the following morning to go for our traditional English breakfast which was all top quality meats along with plenty of coffee and orange juice. Perfect place for a relaxing get away weekend. Trish the Manager there was so friendly and helpful and made our stay incredible and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you Trish for your warming welcome.

Always excellent service, comfortable surroundings, high quality of food, easy parking, level access. We went for lunch with friends and although we sat chatting late into the afternoon no one hurried us out.
Visited for a wake so didn't eat from the menu or spend any money.
Mainly sandwiches and nibbles.
The food was lovely.
Would definitely revisit when in the area.

Fantastic birthday meal for 12 people (mix oldies, adults and kids). Excellent service, very friendly and not rushed. Cocktails to start were great too. Recommend!
Family arranged a lunch for my birthday. Food choices were all great. Everyone enjoyed what they had. Staff had provided a vegan menu for 2 of the party and looked after us very well.
This is mine and my partner's favourite restaurant, the value for the quality of food and cookery is exceptional we feel.
I visit Perkins a few times per year and love going every time. Staff are lovely and food is great. Valentines meal last night was 5*
A lovely evening in a really nice venue. We enjoyed the 6 course Taste the Season menu for £26 each. Staff were attentive and friendly.
Would happily return and would also recommend this restaurant.

I have been going to Perkins literally for decades and I have never had bad food or bad service in all those years. Great service, lovely staff, a terrific place for lunch or dinner. Plenty of free parking too. Highly recommended.
