KISHORE CHANDRAN WARRIER

We had booked a table for dinner. Located in Lace Market in City Centre, it is very close to the tram station. We chose to drive, as it was raining and parked in the Fletcher Gate multistorey car park, which is virtually across the road from the restaurant. The ambience was good and the staff friendly (special thanks to James who attended to us). He gave us his suggestion on ordering Tapas menu (as we were here for the first time). The food was good and service quick. Overall, we enjoyed the dining experience.
Had a great meal here before the theatre. Their menu del dia (menu of the day) was such great value and the portion sizes were really generous too. We got different dishes and shared them all between us. I was full by the end but not uncomfortably full… felt just right! Very satisfied and impressed with this place 🌟
A cracking visit to this tapas restaurant in Nottingham. The food was extremely lovely and tasty. Ample parking in the city centre car parks can be found, lace market at the evening rate is a cracking bargain.
Met with colleagues for some food and drinks. Had the 'Menu Del Dia' option which is a subset of the menu at a fixed price. Food was tasty enough but not mind blowing, staff were friendly and attentive and the price was reasonable. I would definitely eat here again over some of the bars nearby!
Excellent atmosphere, food and drink.
However, the drinks are mighty expensive.
Food selection was good 👍
Taste is spot on too
Service is fast 💨
food arriving is one by one not in one go
which for our case my food arrived first when everyone else is still waiting
Atmosphere with good vibes 😎
would definitely revisit again 🥳
Went here for a works Christmas meal. There were 35 of us and the team served us excellently. Everyone received their ordered drink on arrival and the food was served at good intervals, as you finished on dish the next arrived.
Regular drinks orders were taken and the mocktails were great.
I will definitely be coming back here for a meal to enjoy even more of the menu. There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.
From start to finish this place was wonderful. The food was incredibly tasty and the specials gave an extra element of choice. We celebrated my wifes birthday here and couldnt have been happier with the experience. The staff were all so kind and full of smiles, extra credit to Barry who served us, a very nice chap.
We'll be coming back again
My first visit a few weeks ago on a Saturday. It was quite busy but we're seated straight away. The food was fabulous. One friend commented it was the best she's tasted outside Spain. I had the vegetarian options, but two friends had vegan and it was utterly delicious. One friend gluten free, and found it easy to order. Am visiting again in a week as it was that good. It's worth it for the flat bread and patatas Bravatas alone.
Stopped on an impromptu Saturday lunch, not really expecting them to have a table, but they managed to fit 2 adults and 2 kids in. They provided full a la carte, lunch special and a kids menu for plenty of options.
The tapas selection arrived fairly promptly on an 'as its ready' basis, which inevitability leaves someone staring impatiently and empty handed at a table full of people tucking in.
Food was delicious, kids enjoyed the flatbreads, the fish tacos and pork belly tacos were particularly good.
Recommended for a lovely lunch.
This is my favourite tapas restaurant in Nottingham! I started coming here around 2017 so have seen the menu grow and develop over those years and haven’t had a bad meal in that time.
The Menu Del Dia used to be around £12 which was scandalously cheap for what it was, which is now ~£18 but still absolutely worth that with a delicious Catalan bread, 2 tapas and a side dish.
The wine is great and so are the cocktails, and paired with a great atmosphere and setting it’s one of my favourite spots in Nottingham by far.
Food was some of the best tapas I've had. We went as a group and had the party menu. They brought out separate veggie options for those that wanted them (which were delicious!).
Will definitely be going again.
THE #️⃣1️⃣ restaurant I’ve ever been to! 🏆
@barescatapas in Nottingham was a absolute treat and I definitely *definitely* will be returning!
1️⃣ peshwari flatbread with almonds, raisins, honey, coriander and chillies - the best combination of sweet and spicy! 🌶
2️⃣ sweetcorn and black bean empanadas - soft and crunchy with a good amount of filling 🌽
3️⃣ salmon tikka - soft, tasty and fell apart in my mouth…the show stopper 🤩
4️⃣ garlic and chilli prawns with lemon and parsley 🍤
5️⃣ pork belly tacos with kimchi cabbage and lime mayo 🌮
6️⃣ Mac & cheese with ham and broccoli🍝
7️⃣ lychee-colada 🍹
The staff and service were really nice and quick, the interior was modern and lively and overal a really good experience for tapas 🇪🇸

Great food and excellent service. We were looked after by Joanna who is brilliant with such an amazing smile, lit up our evening and made our visit very special.
Thanks to all at Baresca for a superb valentine's meal
Lovely tapas restaurant with a great value lunch menu - £15 for Catalan bread/olives to start, 2 tapas and a side.
Portions are a lot bigger than I expected and very filling. Really enjoyed the cod tacos (you get two in a portion, but I ate one before taking the picture). Nice selection of sangrias aswell.
Great service and lovely decor; I was really pleased with how nice the toilets were aswell.
Pleasant atmosphere, cosy surroundings with helpful and friendly staff. Some nice selections for food, some warming flavours and creamy textures, suitably tasty too. Nice place to relax and chat over dinner with a colourful cocktail or two.
Great choice of tapas, we had menu of the day catalan bread 2 tapas and a side. My favourite was the mushroom rosini absolutely beautiful so creamy and tasty . I liked that we were given water at start. The staff were friendly and attentive and food was delivered promptly. Loved it and will definitely go back.
It is a pretty cool place to hang out for a drink, wine, coffee, some tapas, and as it happens a leisurely brunch or dinner. The atmosphere is good, modern Spanish, laid back, and the staff is very attentive.
The place is located on Byard Lane near the Lace Market Tram stop in the Nottingham city centre. The menu has many options for carnivores, pescatarians and vegetarian. With a good value set menu for £9.95
Gorgeous food with plenty of great vegan options and lots that can be made vegan! The Empenadas are sooo good and the sangria is lovely 😍 Staff are friendly and the service is always quick and efficient, really nice vibes, will definitely be recommending and returning here!
