Wow how did we just discover this place? Shell made us feel very welcome and comfortable and oh my goodness the food is amazing! Thank you to Dean, Ann and Josh in the kitchen.
Everytime I come here I am greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. Service is fast and the food is bang on. Very good for when the football is on and the beer garden area is very nice. Overall, I recommend to everyone. Family and dog friendly. I would like to give a special mention to Michelle who always goes above and beyond.
Always come here when visiting our daughter who is in uni. Yesterday had the best roast dinner I've had in a long time. The beef was like a piece of steak, the roasts were spot on and the gravy nice and thick. Will be back and will make sure it's a Sunday so I can have the roast again.
5* across the board. Chef Prince cooked up a perfectly seasoned sizzling Hunter's skillet with a swap out dressed salad swapped out fries, well dressed and good portion. Crunchy and fresh leaves, and finely chopped red onion, but not too much. Excellent service, on time, and with added comfort checks by the friendly staff (thank you Shel - a fantastic addition to the team). Rose and Crown has sustained its reputation over the long term and Prince's addition to the kitchen adds exceptional culinary talent to the team. Thanks all at the R&C for a pleasant experience every time.
Prince is a star!! ⭐️ came in for food and felt so welcome, the food was amazing and felt really looked after by all staff working, everyone was very friendly and was asked on multiple occasions if we needed anything. Couldn’t have been better, will definelty be back!!

Thank you Rose and Crown we eat here at least twice a week and attend as many events as possible. Food is hot and tasty, very reasonable prices. Staff are first rate.
Beautifully refurbished this is mine and my family’s favourite place to be now. Food is excellent, I love the staff who all treat us like family, it is the most welcoming place in Nottingham.
We hired the function room for a 21st and had a brilliant night. Great room with separate bar (really cute), reception area and private loos. The staff (especially manager Kirsty and bartender Connor) couldn’t have been more accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t hire a DJ but brought a speaker and decorated the room ourselves. Drinks and decent food at very affordable prices. What’s not to like? Would definitely recommend for any occasion. Thanks for making a special night so perfect.
Absolutely fantastic pub. We had the steak sharer which was a full 24oz steak with all the works! Michelle was absolutely fantastic and so friendly. No request was a problem! The food was great and the atmosphere too, big screens with the football. I’d reccomend the steak sharer and also the 2 for £5 Cinnamon bombs! 10/10 Top establishment with friendly staff!
