It is the best seafood restaurant that we have been to. The menu has a v.good range, all at exceptional value. U would pay 3 times more at loch fynn & not have half as much a good time as we did here. The staff are very helpful. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I have been to the Beeston Lobster Pot, so I was expecting great quality but this still exceeded expectations.
We ordered a few starters to share which we unfortunately forgot to photograph. They were all very good, especially the Haddock Chowder.
For main course we ordered the Ultimate Seafood Platter which had delights of lobster, clams, crabs, prawns and oysters. The lobster had a choice of sauces and we had the cheese option this time.
We enjoyed the evening tremendously, not only because of the marvellous food but also because of the magnificent service, which was friendly and informal, making things very comfortable.
The overall cost is a little more than other restaurants but I feel that the quality of the food and the excellent service easily justify the extra cost.
I have spoken to my dining partner and we will be returning to try other options.
Honestly the best overall experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The food was stunning, the service was second to none, and the atmosphere was cosy, relaxing, and fun. I went for my birthday and they made it feel extra special with little touches I wasn't expecting. Would highly recommend this to anyone who likes seafood.
Great fish restaurant, and well worth going to celebrate a special occasion. Friendly staff and most importantly the food is delicious. We had a seafood platter which is recommended for two people. We both left full. The atmosphere has a busy buzz about it, but loud enough to be a problem. Would happily go again. My personal favourite was the queen scollaps and the cooked oysters
Amazing little restaurant the exterior belies the fantastic food and warm welcome. Well worth a visit. They made a real effort for my wife's birthday. Recommend the seafood platter

Absolutely amazing lobster, fresh oysters. Enjoyed the food so much starting from the starters, lobsters, oysters and finishing with their most popular desserts. The place itself is very cozy. Everything is thought of. Love and highly recommend.

My partner & I celebrated our 10yr anniversary here & we weren't disappointed.
It's an intimate restaurant, but not small. The staff are friendly, inviting & attentive. We had some of the most delicious sea food I've ever had & we're planning our next visit asap!
10/10 Traveled a good 1 hour 40mins to try and i can honestly say it didnt disappoint. Its by far the best place I've ever eaten the starters & plater was so full of flavour, the service was great & we were also provided with a highchair, child friend cutlery & plate for our 8 month old who enjoyed sharing our food! Nice little place in Nottingham with a homely feel đ . Quite central to Nottingham therefore ample parking in surround areas or in the surrounding streets.
We got a very warm welcome. The table was cleaned and set up for us, giving us the option as to where weâd like to sit. Our waiter was phenomenal. Absolutely brilliant. Polite, Kind, informative A

We got a very generous portion of rice each. The waiter also advised that the portion is a good amount incase we wanted to share. The Salmon was cooked to perfection. Really nice swimming in white wine and onion sauce. The drinks Menu was good, a little limited but good.
The dessert Menu was exceptional, some great desserts to complete your appetite and compliment your meal.
A great evening. Not my go to place and probably wouldnât visit again, but if your a sea food lover, then go for it, if not they do have chicken dishes too. Thank you for the experience. đ«

Exquisite seafood with a Thai Twist that will be sure to seduce your tastebuds. The deep fried sea bream was crunchy on the outside yet flaky and succulent on the inside, all wrapped in a sweet and spicy sauce. The prawns were also drenched in a fine white wine and garlic base. I love this place it's the reason i love seafood and Thai food. Best place by far lovely family run place.
A fantastic seafood experience. The staff were super friendly, the food was amazing and the atmosphere for a Wednesday night was also great. As a seafood lover we found the menu hard to choose from as we wanted everything. We had the ultimate platter, oysters and a swordfish dish. The mistake we made when ordering the platter was not having âstodgyâ sides as it didnât quite fill me. Iâd recommend ordering with starters and / or filling sides. The only challenge is parking, the Victoria centre north was the closest I found, an 8 min walk from there. Overall, we loved it, weâd definitely go back - a proper seafood gem!

After looking for a place to have a nice date night and neither of us had had lobster before, we decided to try lobster and the first location that came up was the lobster pot.
Ambiance was quite Christmassy which is a nice touch given the season and the usual chit chat on every table as expected.
We were greeted by Corwin and he asked if we had made a reservation which my fiancĂ©e confirmed affirmatively and we ushered to a table in no time. Corwin then took our order and we had drinks served in minutes. Corwinâs service was top class excellent and we were very happy he attended to us.
Right! Onto the meals we went! Both garlic bread and prawn spring rolls were served together and they were lovely, garlic bread had a nice garlic and herbs spread on top and a nice crunch on the bottom.
Prawn spring rolls was hot and delightful but the presentation was a bit lacking.
I must say, the Lobster was firm to cut and bite at first but we liked it. It could do with a little bit more grilling and seasoning per fiancĂ©eâs opinion and I slightly agree. The butter wasnât soggy to overwhelm the dish but plenty enough to enjoy the lobster.
The egg fried rice on the other hand demands a bit of attention because it wasnât really appetising to complement the lobster which is a let down.
Overall, we had a nice date night and I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who is yet to try lobster.
