Great service and good food. The place was busy on a Tuesday lunchtime. (Much better than our last experience at The Glasshouse which was really poor.) However you cant fault the 'Iceni' - the value for money is outstanding. The food was quickly served, well presented and delicious. It's an ugly old barn, of a building though but at these prices, who cares?

Convenient for the Riverside, Norwich. Food and drinks are good. They have a good range of drinks including violet gin which is an acquired taste I know. Their ginger ale is nice too. They have an allergy screen so you can set relevant filters and then see the food you can eat. Good choice and some dishes are gluten free. Good atmosphere. Can be quiet some days and crowded others, especially on football days as it is in walking distance of Carrow road.

A fabulous Wetherspoons in a prime location. Walking distance from the train station along the river. This Spoons has ample room both inside and out. This benefits from great seating areas outside, whereby you can look at the river, watch the boats and the world go by. The building is lovely, modern and bright inside. As with most Spoons, the main toilets were located upstairs, with aa lovely open and bright staircase... Very nice. The ladies toilets were lovely, spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and polite. We did not eat here, but stopped for a drink and enjoyed the sun and views. We would totally recommend this Spoons and will certainly return

The Queen of Iceni Pub, nestled in Norwich, holds a special place in my heart from my university days at the University of East Anglia. With its cozy atmosphere, rich history, and welcoming staff, it's a must-visit spot for locals and visitors alike. From traditional dishes to innovative cocktails, it's where old friends reunite and new memories are made. For me, it's a nostalgic haven that I cherish with every visit to Norwich.

We ordered using the app and the food came in about 15 minutes with helpful staff. The downside to that is certain food options could not be changed with some dishes. But you can go in order inside to have any of your dietary requirements met. We sat outside having a really nice view over the river with not many people with a very chilled atmosphere in the late afternoon when we went (5 p.m)

I ordered the vegan jacket potato roasted veg and there was some stray bacon on the side of my plate. I just moved it away as it wasn't touching the food, and it was all okay. But this wouldn't be ideal for allergies and other issues. Otherwise, it was a nice day the food and drink was really nice and I had a nice meal.

This is my go to for any family time meal. Its cheap, yummy and my kids always eat what they order. It's good pub grub. Love the unlimited hot drinks. Not easy at busy times to get a place but that's understandable. I love nothing more than to sit by the river on hot day with friends having a meal or a drink.

Lovely pub located near the river. Nice at nighttime but does get very busy at night. The service was great, fast, friendly, the food was tasty fresh, ordered off the app. A tasty meal, good price, top marks πŸ‘Œ πŸ˜‹

Not too busy at 11.30am on Tuesday. Was surprised at how clean and quiet it was. Tables and chairs very spaced out, tea and coffee area also clean and uncluttered. Toilets are upstairs, several cubicles also very clean and tidy. Food came quickly and very reasonably priced. Staff at bar and bringing food to the table were very helpful and friendly. Seating areas were quickly cleaned as soon as a person left. Would return as I haven't been here for about 10 years.

A very typical new-build Wetherspoons, a large open ground floor with a smaller upstairs area. The location is quite good, right next to the river, opposite the cinema and bowling and on the way to the football ground. Food was the usual 'spoons afair, came quickly and was hot. Service was good when we visited, and the venue was not too busy, although it can get packed on weekend evenings. All in all pretty good, would visit again.

Very impressed with my first visit to this one overlooking the river and modern architectural landscape. The local football team were playing at home, so it was rather busy with plastic glasses. No trouble though. I stayed for two drinks. I would like to return one day

Was nice and warm inside sat down to a bit of a sticky table near the exit to have a smoke. Young waitress came over to collect the breakfast menus I handed it to her she just grabbed it from my hands no thanks or smile. What does that cost these Day the other happy lady who brought our food over was nice friendly and sniley unlike our moody friend before somebody tell her to smile more please πŸ™

We stopped of for soft drinks between work and a Cinema visit. It wasn't very busy and staff could be seen making sure they tables were cleared and the place tidy. No waiting and a standard service we have grown to expect
