A perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. Had drinks outside - huge garden - lovely atmosphere. We then moved inside to have dinner - an absolutely delicious meal.
The staff were on point and very friendly. We will definitely be back. Thanks for making our evening special.
If you're considering a wedding venue in Norwich - The Georgian Townhouse is 5* treatment and such a stunning venue. The whole place, people and food was beautiful - all our guests loved the place and their rooms. Donna the Events Manager and Luke the Bar and Restaurant Manager are absolutely lovely. Conveniently a 5 minute walk from the Plantation Gardens - an excellent place for family and friends for photos too! Can't praise these guys enough - loved every moment!
Stayed at TGT this week when visiting my parents who live in Attleborough and had a wonderful stay. We were travelling with our 6 month old son and were a little worried about staying in a hotel but needn't have worried, the staff were so lovely and made us very welcome. Although room service isn't usually offered they very kindly agreed to accommodate us on the first night to save us taking little one out at what would usually have been his bedtime. The food was fabulous, I only wish we'd ordered a bit more actually, especially the chocolate brownie! Breakfast was probably one of the best offerings I've seen in a while, and I stay in hotels a lot; fresh pastries, fruit, cereals and fruit juices to start, then the choice of a hot breakfast too, all included in the room price and absolutely delicious. The hotel itself is gorgeous, very trendy/hipster, but definitely not style over function like some boutique hotels we've stayed in. The room is very comfortable, with some nice little touches. Loved the SMEG fridge and coffee machine! Travelling with a baby we had a LOT of stuff with us but there was plenty of room and space for putting things tidily out of the way. Despite being attached to a busy restaurant we didn't really experience any noise disruption. There is a lot of road noise but we're used to that. The hotel is situated perfectly for exploring the City, and has a very decently sized car park. All in all a fabulous venue and a lovely stay, we will definitely come again when we visit family in the future. Thank you!
Had a lovely meal sitting outside enjoying the sun, the only fault was a bit slow on service waited quite a while for our drinks apart from that lovely place lovely food.
Such a quirky place in a great location that served a delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend it!
Didn't eat here but the food that came out to others looked very good! This place has a great selection of beers and ciders. Lovely beer garden and friendly staff.
Absolutely fantastic venue for our wedding last Friday. From our very first meeting Donna gave us a feeling of confidence that money really can’t buy, and on the day her team made everything go without a hitch leaving us with nothing to worry about. Special mention to Dan who did an awesome job of taking care of us during the day and into the evening.
The food was absolutely amazing (a view echoed by our guests) and our room was superb. The roof terrace was a fantastic place for us both to relax with a well-needed coffee (from the Nespresso machine in the room) the morning after and talk about our day.
Thanks again to Donna and the team for an unforgettable day, and we’ll definitely be back soon!
Had a 70th birthday party here Friday. Very accommodating and nothing too much trouble. Apologies to other diners for the noise and party poppers . My only criticism was the ham egg and chips - not much ham for the price. My pork was to die for though. We will be back.
We've just had such a gorgeous meal here-pork belly with kimchi service a litttttttle slow at times but who cares, we had time, it was a nice atmosphere and with food this good it doesn't matter. Great decor. Best meal I've had in an age. One minor thing-stop the buzzing in the conservatory. I think it's probably from a kitchen fan but v annoying. V minor tho.
What a find. This is a great spot close to the historic center but with the feeling of a more secluded pub. The room was clean, comfortable and dead quiet. The staff were uniformly welcoming and friendly. The food was of a high standard. And the “Lazy Sunday” package is an incredible value. The place could use a lick of paint, but otherwise a fantastic night away.
We went for the spring bank holiday weekend, as they had events and a BBQ in the garden. We didn't stay the night so can't comment on rooms, but the event was brilliant.
They had a singer (Chris Taylor) who sung and played guitar; wide variety of music and very talented!
Food was delicious: we both had sandwiches which were very good quality, and came with chips rather than crisps!
Really good selection of beer, and a lovely afternoon.
Thank you for making our night stay in Norwich perfect. Attentive staff. We had an evening meal and our breakfast, of which the breakfast was included in the price of the room. Lovely food.
My family and I came for dinner last night, having not visited before. Lovely atmosphere and thoughtful interior. The food was delicious and came very quickly. Very friendly staff & amazing service - the lady serving us was very attentive and helpful! Thank you ☺️☺️
Found this gem by chance, the room we had (no 15) was perfect, me and my wife travel a lot and this is one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in.
Staff were super friendly from the time we got there until we left.
Adequate car parking.
Restaurant was very nice though a limited choice and breakfast was great.
My only problem was shower was very weak and had a very narrow stream.
Amazing place to drink, dine, stay, party. Fab location near the city centre, wonderful staff. Food is incredible. Rooms are lovely. The function room is great for weddings, parties and corporate events.
Came for a Sunday lunch. Average prices for what turned out to be an average lunch. Can't fault the staff. But the food wasn't great. They do, do a very nice 'peach' larger, though. Very refreshing
We met family here for Brunch on a Saturday morning, we booked in advance for a table of six. No problems with the booking service, really easy.
The actually Brunch itself was a little disappointing. I had Eggs Royale which was cold & the sourdough toast it came with was extremely tough & hard to cut, It was tasty though.
Two others had pancakes, they both said, very disappointing, cold & soggy!
The full English on the other hand, I was told, was very nice. Delicious sausage but again, a little cold.
I would go again but perhaps ask for extra hot food & avoid the pancakes.
Friendly staff.
We recently stayed there overnight for my sons wedding party ..The room was brilliant and the staff where so helpful .The owner must be proud of you all .They worked so hard making every relaxed...Lovely meal and snacks and the breakfast Delicious...Thankyou all
Stayed 3 nights over Christmas with bed and breakfast. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff in a very well appointed and comfortable micro hotel a short stroll from the city centre. Excellent breakfasts and overall exceptional value. Thoroughly recommended.
I attended a 60th birthday breakfast here. Breakfast selection had a variety but most of us had cooked breakfast. Mine was delicious, but the plate was cold, so my Eggs Benedict cooled very quickly.
Brilliant venue, excellent room and service. Very good value fir money and in a great position to explore Norwich
Absolutely packed with festive dinners, it was impressive how the staff kept everything under control, moving service along and the food hot! However, on arrival it was very difficult to park - once you are in the car park, if there's no space it's quite a challenge getting out again. And the noise level was LOUD. Would recommend for a lively meal where conversation wasn't too important!
