Fabulous real ale pub in the centre of Norwich. Plus great food. The KRAYS burger was superb and really good cod and chips as well.
Favourite Norwich pub, cool wooden interior with lots of booth type areas. Quick service, lots of beers!
Love this pub, it's one of the best in town, a true old school local with heart and a story. Beers on tap are great (one of the reasons I go) and the staff and regulars are super welcoming, don't let the name put you off paying them a visit! You can tell it's loved and well managed, I always judge a
I great multi roomed pub. Previously two buildings, one side has a lot of old timber framing. Mots of old pub mirrors etc and also famous murderers. A great selection of real ales, ciders and lagers including some dark beers. Plenty of staff and a nice atmosphere and varied clientele. Also got some
I do like the murderers but for some reason I can't fathom I never really feel like I can stay here for too long. Perhaps it's because it's a city centre pub and there's a constant flux of people or perhaps it's because the beers and real ales seem to be some of the most expensive in the city, but i
Fell into here for a lunch. Convivial atmosphere helped by the lovely landlord, Phil who was great to talk to and clearly loves his job and pub. Good pub food with a twist. Go for the fish finger sandwich or the maple infused halloumi fries with a soft poached egg. Would return. Loved Norwich after
Always friendly and helpful. Bar staff don't take long to check you are being served. Nice selection of beers and great food (particularly if you only want something small for lunch).
A very interesting and old pub in the centre of Norwich. A great option of food and drinks. Staff are friendly and dogs are welcome too. Highly worth a visit.
A super pub with friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Their food was very good and we all enjoyed this lovely pub and the great atmosphere. Thank you very much indeed!
Came here on Saturday and had a good time for an afternoon drink. Landlord friendly and good service. Fair price too so if you're looking for a friendly local pub then here is the place.
It was my fourth time here, three on different City of Ale trails, and last week on our own bespoke trail. I had the Edith Cavell and it was in fine condition. I like the layout of the pub as well as its central location. I can recommend this pub to beer enthusiasts, as well as a wider set of drinke
One of my favourite pubs in Norwich Selection of ale is excellent Atmosphere is always good Lovely character to the place also
Good range of beers in thus old, busy city centre pub. Menu looked good and reasonably priced.
A great selection of British ales in a good old fashioned English pub. It's becoming harder to find places like this. Ask the barman if you can play the dice game.
A great pub with excellent bar staff. Good beer too.
Hard to find a better pub than this. Great beer choice, cosy seating, shows football (even in the toilet), immense food portions, and a history story for good measure. Once you go for the first time you’ll be back, that’s for sure.
Went for a drink Sat night. Lovely pub with interesting history (and swords on the wall). Good ale and atmosphere
Located just from Norwich City highstreet, this charming and unassuming pub is tucked away behind the Bell, just up timber Hill. Possibly the most BEAUTIFUL HISTORIC pub in Norfolk if not the UK. Stunningly preserved period features throughout, comfortable, warm and a variety of drinks and extremely
Great pub! Shows football, good beer
