We went to The Green Grocers on Saturday...one of their pizza nights. Really good. Fresh ingredients on an organic sour dough base ( and a gluten free option for one of our party). Organic wine, and local beer, and very generous portions, the remainder of which was boxed up for us to take home. We will be back!

Invited by friends who regularly have breakfast there; We went on a Friday evening and although it is a very limited menu (aware of this before we went) I have to say the pizza was lovely, the staff, friendly and engaging and overall felt it was great value and I'd certainly return for another visit.

Favourite pizza and bread in Norwich! Good vegan sausages. We like their bulk section in their store as well, and they have a great selection of vegan cheeses and chocolates! I'm from California, and this place seems to give me a bit of a San Francisco feel... Almost as if I'm transported back for a little while. :-)

Went here for the first time today, was busy but our order was taken quickly and our food arrived fast. Very nice food and friendly staff. The shop is excellent too. We will be visiting again. I would say that only offering boxes for items bought in the shop can be inconvenient, as it was pouring with rain when we went and were walking back home a good few miles, not a major issue but we had to go elsewhere to buy a carrier bag.

Went here for pizza for my friend's birthday meal - it was utterly delicious! Super service - the waitress was so sweet, she let me run to the Co-op and get a cupcake and candle for my friend, then she sneakily lit it in the kitchen and brought it out for her. Above and beyond! Also, lush ale on tap that night. Can't wait to go again.

Really fantastic place to eat. Great food and great atmosphere. The Green Grocer's was quite a find and I would recommend both the restaurant and shop highly.

I was taken to the Green Grocers in Norwich by a friend who lives in Norwich. It is one of the few places open for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The food is freshly cooked & staff friendly. We had the Norfolk breakfast & tea which was delicious.

Fab evening here on the Pizza and Wine early deal. One of the best pizzas I've tasted and never imagined I could have eaten it all but it was so light and fresh. Atmosphere was lovely and the staff work so hard. It was a relaxing evening. We will return again soon.

Popped in with my colleagues from work on a Thursday evening and we all had a great time. We all enjoyed the tasty pizzas, the local beers and the chocolate brownies were delicious. Lovely friendly atmosphere meant none of us wanted to leave, my next visit must be on a weekend so I can stay longer and eat and drink even more.

Went in the café yesterday for the first time and the food was excellent. The service was a little slow, however the café was busy so that's not surprising. Loved the food, décor, ambience, the whole thing! Will definitely be back. :-)

i came here with my friend for coffee (we were too late for food) and it was so lovely! the seating area outside was lovely and sheltered, and the inside was spacious. the connecting shop was absolutely brimming with vegan goodies that you can’t get in supermarkets and i loved it all! it also has a weight & save section which is awesome for those who are reducing waste. overall a lush place and will be coming back to shop soon!🌿

A great little spot for some coffee, working on university projects and buying sustainable goods. We used this little cafe/shop to work on our university sustainability projects where we could set up our laptops in the cafe whilst also looking at some sustainable products for our research. The staff here are really friendly, the coffee is great, the wifi is fast and the shop has some amazing products.

Wonderful! I found this place by chance but fell in love with this cozy place and the atmosphere. The service is friendly and fast. They have a good variety in their menu. As someone that cooks and bakes in his freetime it is really hard to impress me with food, but this place achieved it. I had East Anglia Breakfast with peppermint tea and it was delicious! This enlgish breakfast will be hard to beat in the future and will always put a smile on my face. I can also recommend their store next to the restaurant with organic and selfbaked bread. From 5pm, they also serve pizza, which I will try the next time I visit Norwich!

Zero-waste healthfood store and café with fresh organic produce, fresh bread, bulk food bins, refillable household products, packaged and canned, chilled and frozen products, chocolate, alcohol and more. Adjacent café offers vegan options, such as a breakfast plate (all-day breakfast menu) and an excellent buddha bowl. Pizza too, Thu-Sat.

Busy organic, health-focused cafe attached to a grocery store near the University of East Anglia. Our picks for lunch was the Big Buddha Bowl - highly recommended, a ‘Norwich’ breakfast (basically a half sized English breakfast), and a homemade mini vegetarian quiche served with a side of salad. Good coffee too. Don’t get caught out by the confusing and conflicting parking instructions though or risk getting a fine with your flat white.

Really great Pizza! and the nightly deal of £10 for a Pizza and a drink makes it affordable. Only downside is the very limited selection of draft beer.

Friendly and accommodating place for breakfast. They were great in my painful diet which is keto, and so were very flexible in removing the lovely looking sourdough! The rest of the family really enjoyed their food.

Absolutely love this cafe and shop. The outside is a little unassuming but it’s such a lovely unique little place inside! The coffee is very decent, they offer alternative milks (including almond which is becoming harder to find). Brunch here is absolutely delicious, no problems making substitutions or additions to dishes, and all gluten free options are great - the gf bread is at times hard to believe is gluten free! I’ve always checked, and I’m always reassured. I love the smashed avocado, which is plated with a delicious green sauce at the edge and balsamic. I often add an extra poached egg (recommend!). The staff are knowledgable, friendly, and helpful, absolutely top service. Can be a wait for a table, but definitely worth it. Not the fastest at weekends, as they have limited space and in busy hours can take a little time, so don’t head here at peak hours if you’re in a rush. Perfect for a leisurely brunch. During weekdays it’s much quieter and often super fast. Dog friendly outside but not indoors - there is outdoor seating, it can get blustery so bring layers if you’re sitting outside! The shop next door has plenty of refill and no waste options, the fruit here is some of the nicest I’ve had. Always great to pick up a few bits, they stock a good range considering size, including toiletries. It’s worth noting that parking is free for an hour, beyond that it’s paid via an app, and there is ANPR in use here. Also the spaces aren’t particularly big, and on the upper side there is a hill and some hefty bollards, so be warned: if you don’t have reversing cameras or parking bleepers, you’ll have a challenge, plus there is a cafe full of people who will watch you park with a lot interest.

I started visiting this shop in an effort reduce my plastic waste. They have lots of loose items such as rice, oats, nuts, dried fruit and seeds that you can dispense into your own container and buy completely packaging free. They also have fresh bread, fruit vegetables and many other store cupboard essentials. I've still yet to try the cafe as it is always very busy. However I have brought their homemade vegan sausage rolls, which are the best I've tried!

Excellent service, lovely fresh food and good prices. Vegetarians and vegans don't feel like second class citizens in here, we're well catered for. Also I asked if they had chilli sauce for my breakfast and was handed a selection of 3 lovely sauces. Will definitely go again when in the area.

This is a comfortable and welcoming shop\cafe. And unusual in that it doesn't exploit its green credentials to raise its prices and cynically charge its customers for the dubious privilege of feeling ever so slightly po-faced and superior. Naturally, the café is very popular. Good value, good service and quality ingredients will always attract attention and an appreciative clientele. Unfortunately, it can attract so much appreciation that finding a table at popular times can be difficult, so best to either book a table or visit outside of popular hours. Many reviewers mention the carpark. It is worth reiterating: You are only given one free hour to park. After that, if you don't have a ticket purchased, you will automatically receive a fine.

Lovely little cafe, friendly staff, great atmosphere, welcoming to families. A little pricey but I expect to pay more for good, local and organic food. Delicious vegan breakfast and coffee. Bacon sandwich was good for the boy too. Will return!
