On arrival we were 30 mins early , the staff were not put out by this and seated us promptly. Very curtious waitress showed us to our table , drinks were ordered and brought to our table within 5 mins ( I thought was amazing as it's my birthday and was gagging for a pint !). The food was ordered and brought to table within an excellent time window.... waitress came to check half way through the meal to make sure everything was to our liking . I will same it's a shame I failed to take her name as she is a credit to your branch ! . I'm the biggest critic of eating out and would love to post something negative , but I'm afraid I cannot ... the food was a stunning 10 out of 10 along with the whole dining experience . Have recommended to friends already and will , without doubt be making more reservations at this branch . Keep up the good work š

I rarely write reviews of restaurants - but the service and food I had last night at Bella Italia in Riverside deserves one. Despite the place being full to the rafters, the lovely man who showed us to our table and our equally lovely waitress, made sure we received top notch service.
I had booked online prior to our arrival to ensure a table. If possible (I commented via the online form), Iād like us to be seated at a booth at the back of the restaurant. Upon arrival, the man who greeted us (I think his name is Christian?) apologised that my particular request couldnāt be granted due to excessive numbers in the restaurant that night (the booths seat parties of 4, so I understood how theyād need to allocate these to parties larger than our own). I relayed these thoughts to him and said it wasnāt an issue in the slightest. However, much to my surprise, he came over with a complimentary glass of Prosecco to apologise for being unable to fulfil my original seating request! A lovely gesture that was very unexpected, but showed exceptional customer service.
The service during the evening overall was friendly, professional and quick. Despite the restaurant being full, we didnāt have to wait long at all for our food. When we received it, the food was piping hot, delicious and just as we had hoped. We both plumped for the new ālow calorieā amore dishes... and I would certainly recommend them to those wanting to watch their waistline without wanting to skimp on taste!
Again - a great evening with great food. Thanks to all the team. We shall be back again very soon! ļæ½ļæ½
Thank you to all the staff working this Sunday evening, was attending a big meal with friends and my 18 month old little boy decided to throw the biggest tantrums ever during the 2 hours we stayed, staff were amazing and friendly and very interactive with my little handful and when he made an escape for the kitchen the manager got all the chefs to wave at him instead of ignoring him! Food was amazing and the service was great, I was feeling very stressed by my sons tantrums and the staff were so friendly and felt very happy throughout our whole visit, the other customers sitting near us were absolute stars and were making my little boy laugh too, thank you, will visit again if you will have us! Ha ha
We were also visiting from Colchester so I used baby changing to get the boy in his pyjamas before the drive home and noticed the lovely calming music being played in the toilets so had to just mention that too!

The attentive service added to the enjoyment of our meal, with staff member knowledgeable about the menu and ready to accommodate any special requests. Overall, it was a delightful culinary journey that left us eagerly looking forward to our next visit.
We were served by a lovely young lad, his name slips my mind but he was fantastic. He was smiling and always made sure we had everything we needed. Great service and attention to detail. Thank you. They were all extremely busy but still made sure everyone was happy and served. Well done.
Bella Italia is my preferred destination for enjoying simple Italian dishes. The establishment boasts a charming and spacious decor that I find particularly appealing. What enhances the experience even further is the exceptional service; the staff consistently greets me warmly and demonstrates genuine helpfulness, even during busy periods. On my recent visit, I was attended to by Chelsea, who exemplified a commitment to prioritizing customer satisfaction in all interactions. While the food generally meets expectations, I would rate it higher if there were some standout dishes or greater consistency overall. Despite having visited multiple times and ordering the same items, I have noticed occasional discrepancies in taste, with some days delivering a delightful experience while others leave the impression of dishes lacking freshness or flavor. Addressing this aspect could further elevate the dining experience.
The whole experience from the start was absolutely brilliant, we were served throughout by a lovely girl called Chelsea. She asked straight away about allergies and that instantly put me at ease and then went to the kitchen and searched boxes as well as showing me the allergen filter on the app. She went above and beyond the whole time.
Then to top of the whole experience, if the free limoncello shot for my birthday wasn't enough, she served a little bowl of ice cream with a candle in aswell!
Everyone in there was so lovely and the food was delicious but Chelsea was absolutely fantastic!

We enjoyed an evening at Bella Italia Riverside Norwich with Calzone and Meat Feast Pizza. Both the items were amazing. The cookie dough at the dessert was also nice. Couldn't give 5 stars just because of the delayed service. But surely we'll visit again for some awesome Italian food. Highly recommended.
Chelsea was brilliant. She put up with a lot of grief from two male customers and kept her cool. She was running round looking after everyone and took our order super quick. Best Bella experience weāve had! Food was quick and lovely and Chelsea was just on it!
Chelsea was brilliant. she was lovely and she always made sure we had everything we needed. she made us feel welcome and even moved us to a different table when we requested. lovely atmosphere and lovely staff would 1000% come again!!!
Was pretty busy but not overly so for a Friday evening. Waitress was helpful in working out best of the deals and voucher we had. Most food was good, but fries were a little over done and very very salty!
Excellent meal. Very hot and not a long wait.
Our only quibble it wasn't stated that Blue light cards cannot be used when ordering off the Select menu until we paid the bill.
Would definitely eat here again.
We had such a lovely evening! There are loads of veggie options available which is great, and the cocktails were genuinely so nice. Really well priced too. Would really recommend for a bite when youāre in the area. Zuzanna was particularly nice, very smiley and friendly, made us feel very welcome.

Bella Italia has very good simple dishes that satisfy the most demanding tastes. It was Monday at dinner and it was quiet which it was lovely because we had the whole restaurant for us. The hostess was very polite and kind. The dishes were very good. The waitress that served us was absolutely lovely š. Very clean, nice and tidy, and well organised. I enjoyed it throughly.
We came to Bella Italia for my birthday. The service and atmosphere was amazing. The food was incredible and catered well to Mums gluten intolerance, such a great choice! We even got a free shot of limoncello. We were served by Chelsea and she was fab, so accommodating and friendly, an asset to the team there!
