We stayed at Sugarbeat Eating House the night of 5th August 2017, and although we didn't get there until about 9.40pm and the kitchen was closing we were still offered some food if we were hungry which we were not as we had just eaten. A member of staff (I can't remember his name) showed us to our room and as my wife has mobility problems he helped me get our bags etc from the car. We had a good nights sleep in the lovely Jackson room and a lovely breakfast in the morning served by very pleasant staff. We were very happy with the service and friendliness of all the staff, would recommend but traffic can be very noisy if you are a light sleeper.
Must admit reading the menu, I thought it was a standard pub menu. But wow the food was amazing, all 4 of us were impressed. Staff were all really friendly and attentive. Will be back.

Not the cheapest or most expensive place to eat. The portions were enough and very tasty. The staff are very friendly and efficient. We weren't rushed and the beer was excellent. We will be returning to eat here again.
My first time and won't be my last. All 4 of us were very impressed with both the service and the food. I thought I made the best chilli ever but the Chinky Chilli is to die for.

Can't praise them enough. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is always relaxed and most of all the food is very tasty. The full English breakfast is always the way to go in the mornings �
I've eaten in here numerous times and this is where we stay when work brings me up to our Norfolk HQ of Duffields.
The food and service are always spot on and the rooms are clean modern and make for a great nights sleep after partaking in some of the bar's offerings.
Stevie and David know how to run a great place and it's always a pleasure to visit for food or over night stays. Had an amazing mackerel starter and the meatballs and spaghetti main and it was excellent. The guys at the bar and serving were spot on. Just the right level of attentive. This is how it should be done :-)
Been going to sugarbeet for the last two years for drinks only as they do the best mojitos decided to finally eat there as the food looked fantastic and I could honestly say it was superb. I'm a chef myself and the food was to a very high standard I will definitely be returning I would like to work my way through the menu . The atmosphere and service was also 5 star well done Sugarbeet you meet my high standard in food and service.
Great place to eat, the fish of the day, monkfish tale, was a delight. Our grandkids ate up thier ham egg and chips and burger with gusto! Would definitely go again.
Went for a friends birthday, delicious food and fabulous staff. I had the most amazing Creme egg dessert. Would definitely return.

Great place with lovely people. Very good value for your money. Hefty menu, big rooms and free parking with CCTV. A large garden, a little bar with a good variety of drinks. The location is well positioned to drive around to various attractions in the area. Glad I picked them up for a 3 night stay.
My first time going to sugarbeat and I loved it! We ordered a Pretzel milkshake and a lemon and lime. Both great drinks! For food we had the loaded Macaroni cheese nachos. These were incredible! The macaroni cheese was one of the best I’ve ever had! Loaded with crispy onions, side bowls of guacamole, salsa and sour cream! Perfect on its own as a main meal. I had the 8oz Steak! It came with onion rings, salad, a side of peppercorn sauce and I asked for the skinny fries instead. Amazing all such incredible food! You can tell it’s all home made and really good quality ingredients. The atmosphere and seating is really nice. I also think the price is great even with how big the portions are! Lastly the staff were great lovely! I would 100% recommend going!
Hosted a 90th birthday meal for my in law yesterday. She loved being centre of attention & the surprise guests who joined us. We had use of the little private dining room & were able to close the door for more privacy. Nothing was too much trouble, from turning the music off as the birthday girl disliked it as it made it uncomfortable with her hearing aids, to ensuring we had all we needed. Food was delicious, company great, location perfect - we couldn't have asked for more. The staff made the special occasion something she will be talking about for weeks. Thank you!!
Sugarbeat is by far our favourite place to eat. The food is always spot on - delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are so friendly - nothing is ever too much trouble and our children are always made to feel welcome.
If you’re visiting I highly recommend the cheesecake. Because no matter what the flavour is it’s always the best cheesecake around!
Roll on the summer so we can enjoy our meals in the lovely outside area
Have eaten here lots but not stayed in the rooms as only down the road from us.
Food is consistently good, we’ve eaten breakfast time, lunch & dinner on many occasions. The service is always good and friendly too. We have even held a 5th birthday party here, in the garden. They are always keen to listen and accommodate where they can.
Definitely recommend a visit for either a typical meal out, or any special occasion.
We ate here on 2 occasions, the food was tasty and well presented and good value for money. Staff friendly and a quick service. The only criticism is the restaurant is not easy to spot from a very busy road, having the sign lit up would help.
Came for a late lunch with friends and had a great meal. Fantastic service and they looked after the kids amazingly. I had the butter chicken burger and chips and then shared the cookie dough for dessert. Husband had fish and chips. We both enjoyed our meals.

Every time the food has been delicious and the staff friendly and generally pretty amazing!
We popped in for breakfast at the weekend, we had a table of 7 and only 2 of us didn't make changes to the menu options! Every plate was spot on and exactly what we ordered. I rarely clear my plate from a full English and I am super fussy with my bacon... I cleared my plate and started on other peoples too!!! Highly recommend this establishment!
Great side room for meetings too, attended meetings and training sessions in here and again, always well looked after!

Five of us went in for breakfast today. The welcome was warm and cheerful. The service was excellent - attentive without being over the top. I strongly recommend Eggs Royale - quite the best I have eaten - thank you chef.

Took the good lady Wife for a Birthday breakfast, so did not use the hotel aspect of the SugarBeat.
The food was plentiful, quickly served, fresh, tasty and very good value for money.
We both had the full English - the bacon rashers were thick, not fatty and grilled to perfection; all other items were to a similar standard.
Chased down with a nice pint if real ale ( selection of these available).
Service too was great, the lady clearing a recently vacated table especially for us.
Great place and seems very popular. I stopped for coffee and lunch on my way to a meeting, the staff were welcoming and cheerful. The food was lovely and freshly cooked, the crisps were to die for!
You have to make a point of visiting to try one of their superb cooked breakfasts....you won't be disappointed in the quality, quantity or price! And to top it all the service received has always been second to none.
We will be back again soon.

A group of 10 came here today for a surprise 60th birthday. What a fantastic place. Food was amazing, nothing left on the plates. Communication with Stevie when organising the event was very good. It was very busy with other customers and a surprise 50th birthday also, but service was excellent and nothing too much trouble for any of the staff. I would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.
