Really enjoyed my meal here. The service was incredibly prompt, reliable and felt very non-intrusive. The food was absolutely stunning. I would go as far as to say it was the best cooked pork I have ever eaten! The open kitchen was a joy to watch, as each chef carefully plated each plate with the greatest precision. I genuinely have no bad words to say about anything about Farmyard. Cannot wait to go back again.

We’d just missed the early bird special menu but the place just got busier and busier on a Thursday evening. Food was spectacular and we were sat opposite the open kitchen. It showed the cater and attention to detail given to each plate of food. For the last night of our holiday we shared the rib of beef. It simply malted in the mouth. Heavenly.

First visit to the Farmyard with friends last night and we had a fabulous time . Very attentive staff who were efficient and friendly and made us feel very special. The food was amazing and I’d say it was the best food I’ve ever eaten . Big thanks to Zsolt and his staff for looking after us and making our evening truly awesome.

We went to Farmyard for my husbands birthday celebrations! We were so impressed with everything. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere, excellent service from the very friendly and helpful waiting team and the food was INSANE! We had the steak for 2. It was the best steak we have ever eaten, and we LOVE steak! The prosecco was delish, as was the house red, and my husband loved the gin and lime cocktail. My friend and I both had the' chocolate bar' desert. Wow!! We all loved the open kitchen and were so impressed with how much the chefs cleaned and scrubbed the place down! Can you guys come to my kitchen? � Highly recommend this restaurant, we will be back. Thank you Andrew and the team.

Great experience! Superb service, lovely setting and amazing food. The sweet corn risotto was a master piece. The chefs clearly know what works well. Great to see them working at the open kitchen. Would definitely go again and would recommend to anyone who wants great food in a good settting with lovely staff. Brilliant value.

I have been here twice in the past week, once for a team Christmas meal then again as a party of 4. Both times the food and service were excellent. The restaurant is relaxed and stylish and we loved the open plan kitchen. Fab cocktail menu and wine list just added to an overall excellent experience that we all thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be returning!!

My wife and i ate here on Tuesday for our wedding anniversary and all we can say is wow . The service we received was amazing especially considering our server was only on her second shift . The food was amazing our compliments to the chef .

I attended Farmyard Restaurant for a Dementia Friendly Norwich workshop. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were provided with complimentary coffee and pastries which were to a very high standard. The decor is modern and sophisticated and I definitely would like to return for a meal here! Also dementia friendly too which is great for anyone looking after a loved one and looking for somewhere understanding to go to eat.

Not knowing Norwich I took a chance and tried the Farmyard and wow I’m glad I found this place. The food was really really good and the service was excellent. The whole team create an awesome vibe in this restaurant and I can’t wait to go back.

Today we stumbled on an incredible experience. Farmyard has the friendliest owner, Alan, and exceptional chefs, Andrew and David; excellent service from Lilly and Oscar; a hardworking kitchen staff that you can see from the dining room; and fabulous and original food that satisfies all your senses. The Pea Risotto is creamy and delicious, and the rhubarb dessert is fantastic! I wish this experience for everyone.

We were impressed. We enjoyed the food. It was obvious the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. We ordered from the set menu, 3 courses for £30pp. I had the ham hock terrine and my wife the French onion soup to start, we both enjoyed these. We had the duck for main, which was cooked perfectly, it fell apart in the mouth. We also shared some chips, they were very good. For dessert we had the dark chocolate and amaretto delice, this was amazing. The service was excellent and the atmosphere quiet and calm. Food is expensive here, but portion sizes are good and food quality is to a good standard. We would recommend.

A quiet lunchtime service on a Tuesday, but attentive enough to make the meal a pleasure. Food was good, with great local ingredients and good flavours. Amazing artwork on the wall by local and Scrawl Collective member, Will Barras too, which makes the establishment a visual delight too. Something many establishments cannot claim. A definite recommend, should you be in the vicinity.

One of the best beef on the rib I ever had in my life. İngredients quality are perfect and chefs knows how use those ingredients. Staff was very friendly. Ambiance of the restaurant would be a bit better.

Consistently very good food and service; highly recommended. There is an interesting and varied wine selection. Service is friendly and unobtrusive. The open kitchen is a nice touch, so you can see the food being cooked and arriving at the pass. I particularly recommend the cote de boeuf which is cooked over charcoal and is delicious; dare I say tastier than the equivalent served at The Gunton Arms!

Visited for the first time with family and friends. The food was exceptional, good size portion for me, incredible taste and presentation! The service quite relaxed, not disturbing you every 5 minutes to check in with you. We were amongst first clients, the service seemed a bit slow, but it did not really bothered me. They have a good variaty of beverage. The atmosphere at the table was lovely, but music too loud and the style playing didn't really fit in (club style music) which personally I didn't mind, but I believe a jazz or somthing smooth would have been in better sync with the place. The chairs not too comfortable, and nowhere to put your coats (I had a long coat and the chairs are low). Some degree of child friendliness, but not really suitable for toddlers, very few options of meals @dinner time (in our case), mine had a sandwich and other bits brought from home. However, they have baby highchairs. Overall, I believe it was a nice experience and I would gladly visit again!

Nice meal and the waiter was friendly. I didn't rate it 5 stars because the triple cooled chips were too dry (more like crisps) and the mayo was less than a tablespoon size. The pork collar was okay but a tiny part pink (pork must be fully cooked because their meat ican easily house a parasite) Overall, a good pricey restaurant for hanging out.

Amazing experience. The food is fantastic from the ideas to the plating to the flavours. The chocolate bar didn't fail to live up to it's name. If I had one suggestion, that would be to be more descriptive in the menu of where the ingredients come from for each dish. For a restaurant that boasts about local ingredients, it's nice to know more about exactly that. We loved the whole experience though.

I can't remember when I last had a meal so good. Relaxed quality. Highly recommend. Unfortunately, we live in New Zealand, so will be a long time before we get to experience again, but will be top of the list if things to do when we are next in the UK, not just next time we are in Norwich.

fantastic thanks for the day out. like the octopus starter and lamb & stone bass mains. Won’t recommend the tuna which is too-fancy rather close to Japanese tuna sashimi but too fishy to have. Like the service and the decorations is good !

One of Norwich's finest. Fantastic food, great atmosphere. Pricier than your standard restaurant but you get what you pay for and the lunchtime deal offers excellent value if you're on a budget. It's one of our go-to restaurants special occasions.

Stunning food! I had to leave a review because we selected this place based on the reviews, so wanted to pay that forward. I couldn’t fault the food- each course was divine. A nice touch with the Jubilee dessert too.

Bistronomy at its finest. Great produce, fantastic menu and presented well. Utterly delicious, will return to try out different dishes. All the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, and won't hesitate to return soon.

Location, ambience, staff absolutely great. The presentation of dishes was also really good but for all this style the substance was slightly lacking. Rock oysters with berry vinegar (was this vinegar with added Ribena?) were served on a rock salt bed rather than much preferred crushed ice. Lukewarm oysters... nah. Two vegetarian dishes were wanting for flavour, tempura courgette flowers were delicately done, and goats cheese is a complementary filling but with no further flavouring or seasoning added left a sensation gap. Puddings were simple but excellent, strawbs and clotted cream and chocolate slice were both balanced and excellent. Overall the meal was good, but veggie mains need an injection of pzaz!
