Smallish coffee place & very popular - well worth the visit even if you can’t get a table as they do take out too & have outside tables (for the braver of you at this time of year!)... so... I rarely drink coffee being usually a tea drinker but I have to say their coffee could cause me to swing to the dark side - literally! The flat white was smooth, creamy, drinkable with barely a hint of bitterness. To top off a superb coffee was an amazing Portuguese tart - I got the last one in the display - if there had been more - I’d of had them too... Love coffee? Then you need to drop by this place!

Bangin' cup of coffee every time. The guy with long curly hair makes the best flat whites in the city!

The coffee is always perfection because the source, roast and brew is always spot on. So many places mess up the roast. Not sure the table layout is optimal post-refurb but if you get a table you have a lot of space

Always excellent coffee, even better when you can sit and savour it in the coffee shop itself :)

This is not coffee, it's magic. Full of flavour and naturally sweet( Kenyan coffee ) so addicted that I just had to buy their coffee to have at home . Staff do my coffee whilst I'm shopping at Tesco, I come back , it's there! Recommend it to anyone.

So far, best coffee company in Norwich. Your pain au chocolat is incredibly good and the service, taste and atmosphere are high quality. You're my 1st coffee option now!

A delicious flat white, really well made, a hot chocolate and a i.e. what of Guinness and chocolate cake! We couldn't ask for better!

What these guys are doing with coffee is awesome you have to taste it to believe it. I'm gradually graduating from syrup latte drinker to black with no sugar because the flavours are incredible. Keep up the good work guys ⛾

As a coffee shop owner, stranger truly live up to its reputation, flat white was smooth and silky. Excellent coffee but I still think it’s the barista that’s makes the different. My previous coffee with stranger was hit and miss unfortunately.

I went to Stranger Coffee to get my caffeine fix before an event, hoping to find a fruity coffee. The staff kindly offered me a taste of their filter coffee before making a purchase. The coffee had a fruity taste, reminiscent of pineapple, with a subtle fermented aroma. It was an excellent coffee, especially for its affordable price!

Cheap prices for good coffee and cake. A pretty small cafe so I would get here earlyish in the day to ensure a seat if you're planning on staying a while. Very friendly staff. The cafe itself is very aesthetically pleasing and has a great view of the lanes and bustling Norwich life. Tables come with complimentary mini lotus biscuits.

Small but calm and welcoming. Plenty of great cakes including wonderful vegan carrot cake. The coffee is great - strong and slightly nutty.

Drank two contrasting espresso. Barista helped me understand the differences. Really enjoyed it. Thank you.

By far the best coffee in Europe/UK! As an Australian travelling through Europe, I’ve found it near impossible to find any coffee that is remotely drinkable. Just as I had lost hope, I popped into Strangers and my mind was blown. I have been back everyday and the coffee has been consistently amazing. Simply delicious and SO REASONABLE (£1 cheaper than the burnt brew you can get from Costa). Shame I can’t pack this cafe into my suitcase and make it my new local in Sydney. Can not recommend this place enough!

A nice coffee shop, not a great deal of space inside if busy to sit down. Coffee is good, if I was being picky however, I would say my cortado was slightly over bitter and over extracted. Could have easily been a poor shot though as my girlfriend enjoyed her coffee & had no complaints.

My 5 stars are for the coffee, I don't think I've had food there. A very good filter and excellent flat whites - beans for sale are good too, El Perezoso from Costa Rica was particularly good

Coffee done properly! As kiwi's we are coffee snobs, but this coffee was excellent! And they know how to do a long black! Great vibe too 😊
