Lovely pub. Great food: fish fingers superb! Good selection of beers etc. Several areas, one large fireplace in between 2 rooms. Can accommodate wheelchair users. Staff friendly, attentive, helpful.
Our first stay here, we received a very warm welcome, rooms are perfect and clean was also very quiet.
Proper traditional bar area with a great choice of beers, and a real fire, restaurant area has lovely decor and the food was extremely good as was the breakfast.

My husband and I both had the burger. The burger itself was lovely. If I could change something, it would be the chips and salad that came with it. Overall, it was pleasant, but fresher salad and homemade chips would've been even better for the price of the dish itself.
Very cosy place with a wood burner and wooden beams. Good real was served by pleasant staff. I would recommend for a drink and to try the food on a menu with a variety of dishes.

Such a pleasant stay I decided to leave a £10 note in the tip jar when we checked out.
Which is shared with all the Staff.

This is a fantastic pub, Cosy 17th century gem in a local village. Was here for 2 nights from NYE with the family and I wish i could of stayed longer. The friendly staff got us a table for NYE in the bar area and we had a great evening.The room was spacious and had the most comfortable King sized bed.This place is definitely worth a visit and stay, they also do a great Fried breakfast.

Fabulous lunch for 6 people in a lovely environment. I had a very different and fantastically tasty belly pork dish. 1st class!
Clean modern room, only downside was the bright green light on the fire alarm which kept me awake. Food in the bar very good and nice breakfast. Close to Norwich city but quiet village.
Excellent menu and perfectly presented food, but partly poorly cooked. Long cooked belly pork was tough. Maybe a one off.

Wow! A BIG fat wow! This place really is something else. We visited for the first time this weekend. Staff were attentive. So helpful and cheerful. The food was served on hot plates. So delicious. Extremely clean. Basically bent over backwards. Even the dog enjoyed his visit. Will definitely recommend you guys! Thank you for your hospitality

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean. Food was great. We stayed in room three and this was spacious and accommodating plus very comfortable.
There’s decent parking which is good because local taxis are a small fortune!
We went with our 2yr old and in particular a lady serving breakfast interacted with him so kindly, he really enjoyed her attention.
