This weekend I was in the lovely city of Norwich visiting family, and on Sunday we went into the city center for a wander and some lunch. After talking to my manager at work about my planned weekend in Norwich with family, she told me about a magical Waffle House that I should visit… And boy did it not disappoint!

I was completely overwhelmed with the menu choices, but two that really caught my eye included Indian inspired waffle “Potato, Cauliflower, Spinach & Puy Lentil Dhal” and “Authentic Greek Salad” (which my sister ended up getting). however after much deliberation I chose the hummus and avocado waffle, with a garlic butter, cheese and rosemary “side” dish.

I visited the Waffle House Norwich with my family on a Sunday afternoon and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is cozy and charming, with a friendly and attentive staff. The menu offers a variety of waffles, both sweet and savory, with vegetarian and gluten-free options. We ordered the cheese and mushroom waffle, the bacon and banana waffle, and the chocolate and cream waffle. They were all delicious, fresh, and filling. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We also enjoyed the coffee, which was vegan and smooth. The Waffle House Norwich is a great place to enjoy a tasty and satisfying meal with your loved ones. I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back again.

I think this is one of the perfect places to have breakfast in Norwich. The like how they combine a waffle with everything, and all of them taste a lot better than I expected. Do not judge the portion from the photos, they are bigger than you think. I also ordered the honeycomb smoothie. I was too sweet for me but it is good though.

Amazing waffle house with both savoury and sweet options to satisfy both cravings! Cheese waffles with more cheese and beans was THE BEST THING. I would have this every day if I could. The chocolate honeycomb waffle wasn't too sickly sweet which as great. Staff here are fab too.

Decided to go here for Valentines Lunch, I was very impressed with the food and the pricing was fair. The tables and facilities were clean and tidy. The food was hot and tasted nice although I would have chosen from the breakfast menu if it ran all day

Came here after a long time again, and as always - it did not disappoint! Both sweet and savoury waffles are tasty and they have my favourite milkshake ever - the berry one 😋 If you are a student you can also get 15% off what you eat!!

Great if you have a party as they don't mind the noise and look after you amazingly. We were upstairs next door. My #vegan milkshake was divine. My vegan waffle was dry. Note to self ask for maple syrup next time. My partner doesn't like waffles so enjoyed his rice. The servers never stopped 👊

Such a cute place to get brunch with friends and family. Lots of sweet or savoury options. Son was given colouring pencils and sheet to keep him busy. Good service and Restaurant clean. Toilets are out and in the next door upstairs. I really recommend the Bacon & Banana Waffle, an unbelievable but perfect combination!

Delicious gluten free waffle. I ordered the hummus, sundried tomatoes, olives, and avocado savoury waffle and it was incredible. Fast service and lovely staff. Great atmosphere - cosy and friendly. Highly recommend.

Can't fault our recent visit to the Waffle House! Wednesday evening, but by no means empty so the staff were busy looking after everyone. The special i had my eye on was sold out, but I had a bit of advice from staff, and I found a similar alternative. We had a meaty main and a veggie main, and we both had mousse desserts. It was lush! Great staff great food. You can't book, so if you turn up and there's no table available - I recommend you wait!!

01.10.2023 Been many times before. Always great. Lots of sweet or savoury options. Daughter was given colouring pencils and sheet to keep her busy. Toilets are out and in the next door upstairs. More spacious seating upstairs. Also good view of the street. Old building, narrow and low doorways, lots of stairs. Expensive street parking outside or St Giles car park is a few feet away.

Delicious waffles and really good value for money. We went with our 18 month old and everyone was very accommodating. The kids meals are also very good value for money and he really enjoyed it. It’s very busy and when we left there was a queue outside, but I’m not surprised as food was delicious. Plenty of options for vegetarians and plenty of both sweet and savoury options. Will be back again!

Such a cute place to get brunch with friends, family, or on a date. The menu has a mixture of sweet and savoury waffles to suit everyone's taste. The staff are all friendly and attentive whether it's busy or quiet - one time in particular they were empty at an odd hour of the day and were still welcoming, friendly, and attentive to myself and my partner. The banoffee waffle is my personal favourite as most places don't serve anything banoffee these days.

There are so many savoury and sweet waffles to choose from, but the Pecan Nut Waffle- perfectly cooked and with a very generous drizzle of butterscotch sauce- won out for me. Blissful! Oh, and friendly service, too 😊

Huge variety of savoury and sweet waffles. The waffles themselves are light and always fresh. Their homemade yogurt was excellent. Very friendly staff. They are usually quite busy so don’t expect the fastest service. Extra seating area upstairs and good location in central Norwich. Reasonably priced for the choices you get and quality of food offered for a nice brunch

I was in Norwich for couple of days from London to see a close friend. My friend knows I like Hugh Jackman so she suggested to come and check this place out on late Monday afternoon. I had the plain waffle with Vanilla ice cream and toffee and she had the fruity cherry waffle. Cute place to visit if you are in Norwich, nice atmosphere and lovely staff especially Anna who served us, she was attentive and helpful. The ground floor was full so we went upstairs which was lovely. Thank you Anna and the team for a good time. I will definitely return in my next visit xxx

We’ve been going to the Waffle House for the past 20 years, and we’re drawn in by the smell of the waffles coming out of the vent of the building! (Honest!) It’s been around since the late 70’s, and there is a very good reason. It’s superb. The staff, the food, the vibe, the coffee, etc. It really is a place to visit at least once. The menu is now seasonal and has both veggie and vegan options in both sweet and savoury options. There is a wide range of drinks, and the coffee is really good too. We visited on a Friday lunchtime and were seated very swiftly by the window, meaning we can do some good people watching whilst our food is prepared. The staff are really friendly, smiley and know the menu and ingredients. If you want a recommendation or have a question, they’ll be able to help. Food is fresh, seasonal and tasty. I’d recommend the Belgian chocolate and honeycomb. It’s proper naughty!!!

Super restaurant, we visit regularly. I come with my husband, friends and family. Lovely staff. My only suggestion would be to let customers know when meals change. For example the biscuit on the dessert or the pickles in the coleslaw.
