Food was lovely and would definitely come again Staff did jump on you pretty much instantly for an order so could possibly give you more time to look at menu but would highly recommend
We decided at the last minute to book a table at Merchants of Spice as potentially our last date night before our baby arrives! Booking the table was so easy to do online. We were met by Misha who literally couldn’t do enough for us all evening, she was so attentive, funny and just lovely from the g
I really recommend this restaurant, really nice staff specially Sim Who recommend me an amazing dish what I never tried before. I will definitely come back!
Food was good. Tasty and freshly prepared. Probably had better Indian food but it was still nice and I understand that personal preference changes from person to person. The service was excellent. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful especially the Asian Waitress. Very lovely.
As a converted pub this venue does not have the elegance of the Norwich City one, but the food is fantastic, thecstaff attentive but not intrusive. I was surprised to see how busy it was at 6pm on a Wednesday evening. Well worth a visit.
We had been there before but it appears to be under different management than since we last went. We were given a friendly welcome and drinks ordered. Several dishes I had not tried before, so I decided to try something new. I had a prawn curry with coconut and special rice which was very tasty and
Wow. Wow. Wow. It’s very rarely that I’m fully impressed by a restaurant, but Merchants of Spice on Yarmouth Rd went above and beyond. I ordered for a group of 7. Starters and mains, and also sides. Absolutely superb!! Their tandoori anything is always succulent and flavourful. However, the mod
The staffs are very friendly. One of the staffs named Mr. Manpreet gives us some advices for drinks and foods. Also he remembers what we mentioned about the meal of our last visited. This is the second time we visited the restaurant in 2 weekends. We will recommend this restaurant.
The food at Merchant of Spice 2 in Thorpe St Andrew is always exceptionally good, whether you’re eating in or picking up a takeaway. The service is second to none and the staff couldn’t be more helpful / attentive. It’s definitely worth a visit if you like Indian food.
Excellent food, service was ok though I felt a bit rushed to 'get the order in'. Atmosphere wasn't great in terms of the acoustics as you could hear everyone else's conversations. Just my view, but that's the point of a review right? Final thought was that it was quite expensive.
