We decided to visit for a light lunch. We chose pork cheeks and fish pie. Both dishes were delicious although the pork could have benefitted form a slice of sourdough as was it broth style dish.

What a find in Norwich, for me, its all about the coffee, whether it's strong and not bitter, smooth and totally drinkable. It's was spot on! 👌 Whereas the rest of our family were all about the food, wonderful breakfast plates, cakes, biscuits and most importantly the variation of Gluten free and Dairy Free for allergens. The Magpies were totally all over this and had a superb menu. The staff were all so helpful, polite and had full knowledge which left you feeling totally confident. Visit, you won't be disappointed! 😘❤️

It's one of my favourite cafes. Friendly, helpful staff, vibrant and comfortable atmosphere to sit and chat or study. I love the freshly baked treats and how big of a selection they've got - lots of savoury and sweet options. All of them are delicious. I've eaten a few different things but highly recommend the cheese and ham croissant or the buttery croissants or danishes all are amazing as well as all their cakes - rhubarb and orange bakewell tart 😋.

Our normal coffee shop had closed down so popped in here to see what was on offer. The Coffee was very good, my wife had a piece of cake, I had what looked like a sausage Roll, we chose these as we were eating later and they were the smallest items they had on display. Both were great, mine was better than a sausage roll. We need to go back as there was so much we wanted to try, the range of food was huge, and completely different to the normal Coffee shop fare, service was quick and efficient there was also two menus you could order from depending on the time of day. On the shelf behind the counter they had some lovely looking breads. The cafe was clean and tables cleared quickly, all in all we left with a very positive impression of a modern Norwich cafe

What a great place for lunch, brunch, or coffee! We went with my husband to have lunch, loads vegan and GF produce but not bread which contained eggs (well done on stuff knowing this!). So since I am vegan and GF instead of break they gave me a macaroon for free! How very nice of them, definitely come back and 100% recommend!

This place is phenomenal. I paid a visit on a Saturday, thanks to Google Maps and Reviews. It was a fleeting visit to Norwich, and I bought a sausage roll to take away. My goodness. This is no ordinary sausage roll. Expensive at over £4 but absolutely delicious. The only better sausage roll I have had was at a bakery in the Cotswolds, but still, this was fantastic. So much so, that I returned the next day to order some more sausage rolls to take home as well as a couple of sourdough baguettes. Well. What can I say. The baguettes were just divine. I enjoyed them at home with French butter and then also blue Stilton. I imagine they would be fantastic with ham too. The only other sourdough I have had to rival this is the bread by Hambletons, which is legendary. I had to skip on the cakes (I'm trying to avoid too much sugar) although they did look delicious. Bakery and sit down area was rammed and understandably so. Fabulous. Do go. When it's this good, you are only doing yourself a disservice by going somewhere cheaper. Life is too short to skimp!

We stumbled on this beautiful Cafe and were pleasantly surprised. There was a large selection of pastries, someone which we sampled and were absolutely delicious! We started with cappuccinos, which were divine, my hubby had the French toast which was exquisite while I enjoyed the freshly baked sourdough toasts and cinnamon swirl butter, an absolute must! Simply delicious!

If you have dietary issues then Two Magpies is an option with sourdough bread as well as pastries cakes and savouries. There were 7 of us and they had no issues with orders or making sure that the food came out at the same time. The bill wss split 7 ways and, again, this was not an issue. The food looked great and tasted better. We have revisited a couple of times since and the food is still fab but the service was slow, sorry guys

My partner and I come here for a late breakfast every couple of weeks as we live very close by. I am a wheelchair user so have a very small selection of places I can visit! Two magpies has always been top of my list for breakfast, treats and drinks and their wheelchair access is really fantastic, the staff always make the visit easy and always approach me with kindness (not always guaranteed as a disabled person!) The bakery is step free and flat throughout, their accessible toilets are large enough for my power chair and are kept clean and neat. When it's busy I do need to ask people to move their chair to make a path for me but that isn't a massive deal. The tables are good for my power chair to fit underneath comfortably. The counter of pastries can be a little tall to be able to fully see everything from my chair but the staff are extremely helpful and happy to answer questions. The till area is a good height for me from my chair and I have ample room around the counter to move and turn my chair around without issue! Overall the access is really really good and I feel safe and at ease when visiting.

Pleasantly surprised on my most recent visit. Have been many times for cakes and coffee but this time went for breakfast. Absolutely beautiful French toast, bacon was super Smokey and the bread was so thick and fluffy. Can’t recommend enough, portion size was just right. Not the cheapest breakfast in Norwich but we’ll worth it.

My go to place on a Sunday morning. A beautiful array of baked treats and lovely loose leaf tea. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is vibrant but not overwhelming. It's open everyday including Bank Holidays, Easter Day etc

Over a period of time we've had numerous cakes and pastries from here. Always very good. The pastel de natas when available are excellent as are the sausage rolls.

Two Magpies Bakery is located at Timber Hill, Norwich NR1 3LA. Wide variety of bakeries cake and bread are freshly produced, so worth trying. The prices are little bit above average. Sitting area decoration is pleasant, good atmosphere here. When you are tired after long shopping time, just stay here to spend a while.

Often busy, but nice place to stop in. Coffee isn’t particularly strong, so good if you prefer yours on the weaker side. Sadly the gluten free options are all stored next to other products and served with the same tools, so do NOT eat here if you are coeliac. Plenty of enviably great looking options for gluten eaters though!

It must be the best bakery in Norwich. It has never failed me in flavours and quality. Great staff and with serving at the tables, light and airy but with the option of outside tables this is the venue for relaxation whist enjoying sweet and savoury bites.
