My new favourite place! I love the quirky, cosy atmosphere & the friendly service. The food is great quality & tasty & you can’t beat loose leaf tea, in a pot, with a proper tea strainer. Always look forward to the prospect of lunch here.

I have tried just about everything on the menu. Great coffee and well priced at only £2. Everything is freshly baked and the hot specials like the beef stew and Croque Monsieur warm the cockles on a chilly autumn morning. :)

A delightful find! This is as quaintly English as it gets. Katy's Reading room is set in an old village property that you would pass by if you didn't know it was there. The welcome, food and service is outstanding. The reading Room element relates to the "Donation" system for the plethora of books on offer, everything from drama and suspense to gardening and children's books. An absolutely outstanding "coffee" shop that is well worth restaurant status. Will definitely revisit when next in the area.

There are some tearooms that just feel right, and Katy's Bakes is definitely one of them, there were even delicious aromas at the door. We enjoyed a proper cream tea, two scones each, perfectly baked and a good size with jam and clotted cream. Our teapot was readily topped up without us needing to ask. It is a friendly place we'd recommend without hesitation.

Lovely tea room in a picturesque village. Scones were perfect, and the salad was locally sourced, flavourful, and fragrant. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the chocolate Guinness cake from Katy's Bakes, and I must say, it was absolutely amazing. The cake was so soft and moist, and bursting with rich, chocolatey flavour. It's no surprise that it disappeared in seconds, as everyone who tried it couldn't get enough. I highly recommend this cake to anyone looking for a delicious and indulgent treat. Thank you, Katy's Bakes, for creating such a wonderful dessert!

Arrived at lunchtime all tables full, however we would have been happy to share a table. A couple left and offered us there table. Had a lovely lunch of soup and roll then cake and coffee. The soup was delicious, hot and nicely presented. Cake and coffee was lovely also. We were offered tap water while we waited for our soup which was a welcome touch.

Took my 81 year old mum for an early Mother's day lunch. Highly recommend this beautiful little tea shop. Really relaxed atmosphere and the food was amazing. The only downside was after eating the delicious savory cheese scones we had no room for pudding. But a perfect excuse for another visit!
