My absolute favourite coffee shop, I live locally and I always come here whenever I can because the coffee and cakes, are incredible, I always get an Americano here because they are the best I have tasted, and I once had a blueberry tart here with a friend and we both loved it. Mrs Marjan is super nice and always recognises customers, super nice place and a great addition to Northwood highstreet.

This restaurant has an extensive menu and is a great place to have breakfast or lunch or just a coffee with friends. Very reasonably priced, often very quiet with choice of tables inside and outside. No luxury surroundings, yet it is definitely a favourite local spot in my book.
The Village Restaurant is a nice little place to get away from the tedium of all the boring big chains that seem to dominate every high street.
It's a 'Ma and Pa' establishment as they say in the US and fully deserves to be supported. Good range of beverages and hot breakfasts available with lovely hard working table staff.
This place has good all day breakfast, different types as well. It's got a cozy atmosphere indoors and some tables outside as well to enjoy sunny days. Staff is friendly. This isn't the cheapest cafe though, and ill put that down to the location being in an expensive neighbourhood. My one gripe with this cafe is that they say they have filter coffee but really you'll get an americano. Minor inconvenience but I'd come back and have so.
I come here for a coffee before going on to Mount Vernon, and always have good service. The menu is extensive for a small cafe, and the full English breakfast looks amazing. Come hungry if you're having that!

Great local cafe - surprisingly broad menu and I can absolutely recommend all the varieties of English Breakfast. A real local gem - always friendly, efficient and very good value. Plus open 7 days a week.
Spent the whole afternoon there last week! Excellent food and service and a lovely atmosphere. A typical old fashioned pub with the added advantage of top notch food. Recommended and I will go there again when I am up by Station.
I regularly crave the English breakfast here. The Avo on toasts tastes good as well! The staff generally leave you to it but are always happy to have a chat :)
