Our local, which we still use, despite their lack of a delivery service, for both eating out and takeaway. Always good food, without the excess of fat most IRs seem to produce these days. Generally great service, although one of the brothers seems much friendlier than the other. They have been here a while, and that is because they regularly produce what the customer wants.
Nice food and good service but if you go midweek the place is empty and has no atmosphere. Maybe they need to offer incentive to attract midweek customers. Maybe but on get one free or free bottle of wine or something?

Picked up an order last night. Even on takeout the staff were extremely attentive. THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE. Ordered a massala and rice and honestly it's probably going to be my next three meals. Food is very highly flavored. Wouldn't recommend if you're on a diet. Lots of ghee used. But that just made it better.
Only one visit, but impressed. The food was very well prepared and the place was well decorated. Vegetarians catered for, but it's mostly meat on the menu. This seemed to suit the English curry crowd present.
The front of house staff were completely charming. Definitely somewhere we'll visit again.
It's good value for a restaurant of this type - old-style India or Pakistani to British tastes. A bit more attention to some details. For example, some of the light switches needed a clean. Little things, but noticeable.
Amazing food and great service
The food is good the service is excellent. But every time me and my family visit the restaurant it is very very cold . I think they don't have any heating system in the restaurant but there is a heater in the hallway which is a joke but would come back fr the food

We Tried Maharaja Restaurant as a eat out government scheme, the food was great, freshly cooked, taste and well presented.
The waiters were attentive and the service overall was excellent as the restaurant was busy.

The food was fantastic and delicious, service was friendly. The food was served fast as it was quiet busy. Complements to the chelf and staff for making use feel really welcome.
I visited Maharajah last night with my daughter and her partner and thoroughly enjoyed the lamb Rezeelah Korai.
It was absolutely succulent!
The accompanying dry mixed vegetable curry, and plain basmati rice were perfect. And the raitha, lime pickle, chutney, and chopped onion was amazing.
Please pay this fine establishment a visit. Superb food and wonderful service

I came to the Restuarent with my Family and was pleased with the service and the quality of the food was really good. Customer Service was friendly and provided excellent service to my family. The place was clearn and the food had a lot of flavour and taste.
