I have regularly ordered from After Five over many years and cannot fault the service, quality or taste of the food. All food has always been delivered hot due to being well packed, on the odd occasion the wait for the delivery has been slightly over the estimated time frame but never by too much and again once received the food has been of the best quality.
The menu is varied, however I do tend to stick to a few firm favourites but that is down purely to my preference.
I have never had a bad meal delivered and certainly recommend
Ordered from here for the first time last night as its the only Chinese around which takes card and delivers, wasn't disappointed, delivery was quick and driver was very friendly had Singapore fried rice and vermicelli, lots of chicken very tasty, salt and pepper chicken was nice will be my goto now for a Chinese when having a lazy day.
Always a great meal and staff are so friendly. My daughter is Coeliac and they always take so much care with labelling and preparation. We are always disappointed that they shut on Tuesday and Wednesday though π«

Amazingly good takeaway! Food was piping hot, beef and ribs were so tender, spring rolls were flavoursome and different to other places, and rice was delicious and fluffy. All around top notch!!! :D

Would be five stars gluten free menu is just great. Its rare to get a Chinese gf option. Only thing would prefer foil trays not plastic. Lovely friendly staff though. Well done.

Fully gluten free. Excellent food and service. Celiac aware, very reassuring, understanding and patient while ordering on the phone. Should make it more prominent on website that coeliac is so well accommodated, as many may not bother with a place if it's not advertised as gluten free. As we did for a while, so glad we phoned up. Had one issue with After Five, nothing that was not resolved, and the food is superb. I think I have tried most of the vast range of dishes on offer, my favorite being a Brummie, is the Curry, simply superb. The rice dishes are also to die for, Young Chow Rice is my personal fav, everything is fresh and delivered in a decent time, I have never had cold food delivered. Sweet and sour is also lovely,. Love the place. Lady who takes the order so polite and helpful.
