From what I can remember it was a great place for a few beverages, there was a top quality DJ and morish drinks prices and lavish outdoor illuminated beer garden.
Only popped for a drink, friendly staff, nice pint, and a fab pub dog!
Had an excellent early afternoon there recently. Couldn't do enough for you. Put the racing channel on that I wanted. Great background music and a very very good pint of Guinness at an excellent price. Thank you Emma and the excellent barman. See you soon. 😀👍😀👍😀👍😀👍😀👍😀👍

This will be a long one! Went here for karaoke with a friend for our first night out out since the before times. Had an absolute blast. Probably would have felt that way anywhere, but the reasons for 5* are as follows:

First visit for 30+ years. Old watering hole fondly remembered. Early Sunday evening visit spent enjoying 4 pints of excellent Genius with friends. Quite a few people in having a good banter with the barmaid made for a great atmosphere. Always a good boozer !
A great venue with a refreshing down to earth atmosphere. Plenty of seating and big screens for match days or for watching other sporting events whilst enjoying a drink or two.
Great place for watching sport. Loads of TVs in virtually every direction you look.
Drinks are pretty cheap and service is usually quick.
Good size beer garden at the back with heaters at night.
New owners have transformed the swinging witch in to a nice place to visit in the heart of Northwich.

Great place since taken over, renovated, new business model. Cocktails, live DJ, good music, and nice outdoor seating. Prices cheap close to spoons prices.

Standard 'sports' pub atmosphere inside most evenings but exceptional beer garden. New Saturday night dj is excellent.
