Just ordered the meal for 1 offer plus a couple of extras to make our order up to the minimum of £15 for delivery. Thexquality of food is amazing, great taste & quick delivery considering the current demand. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

Food here was very good, good price, good taste and friendly staff. The food was also piping hot and had more in than we expected(great value for money). Would definitely recommend and would return. The food was amazingly cheap yet the food did not reflect this.

Ordered meal for 1 twice. Korma and vindaloo and they were lovely , the rest of food was too and it was piping hot when arrived. Normally we use another local indian takeaway but this was just as nice if not nicer. Very reasonable delivery time too. Would deffo advise trying here if you havent.

I don't know if it's because of Covid, a change of management or what, but my usual curry house has become a reliable source of dishes either too dry, too gristly, or both. I am loyal when it comes to curry houses but I've had too much heart-and-stomach-ache from my previous haunt. I thought I'd cast my net a little wider, and tried Chokri. Seen it many a time but its location had seemed just a bit too inconvenient for me to stop for. I always used to order a lamb pathia at every newly discovered establishment, in the name of calibration. I'm sure you understand: if they can provide palatable lamb and a good sauce, then I'll return and try summat else. This time... I was too weary of that process. I've had far too many disappointing lamb pathias recently. So I tried the white-fish Kata Miti as respite. It was delicious. I went back a coupla days later and ordered the lamb Kata Miti. The sauce had changed subtly and was less amazing. The lamb Kata Miti came with very little surface oil. The meat had little gristle but it was overcooked. They gave me an extra poppadom. And I got some salad. So not only YMMV but MMMV. Discourse with the bearded feller behind the counter is limited. Next time I go, I will attempt to learn his name. Value for money (for a special deal for one -- 12 quid) 10/10

After a many dissapointing take outs from Kingsmead Spice, we decided to hunt for another Indian take away. We chose Chokra due to being one the most highly rated takeaways on JustEat in Northwich, and we now understand why. Starters were lovely, poppadoms really nice and light, no oil whatsoever. The condiments were lovely as well, not over powering when ate with poppadoms. Their Bajis are nice and Crispy, not oily. I then tried a Chicken & Cheese Pasanda, normally in other places they only offer it as a Cheese but having the best of both worlds was heaven. The sauce was very flavoursome, just right, not to sweet or oily, the cheese was just was lovely, no rubber or squeaky feeling :) chicken was succulent and soft. Pashwari rice is gorgeous, not to overpowered by sugar. The nan was lovely unfortunately I couldn't finish it because I was to full. If your looking for quality food that's delivered quickly and still hot then I'd definitely recommend Chokra over most Indian take aways in Northwich. Will be coming back very soon.

In summary, great food and great delivery. The driver apologised for the delay despite arriving five minutes early, and the food was piping hot. The only letdown was the mixed kebab starter; the kofta didn't have much flavour, the tikka was a bit tough, and the spring roll had an odd gelatinous sauce on it to add to its being out of place from an Indian takeaway. All was forgiven for the curry however. Whilst a chicken korma and a tikka balti might not be the most adventurous dishes, they were very flavoursome and the chicken in these was beautifully tender, and crucially not cooked until dry. We'll definitely be ordering again.

We absolutely love this Indian Takeaway... great Staff, wonderful Chef 'ALI' who cooks really tasty and Authentic Traditional Food that is a Joy to Eat... too much, and much too often, we are probably guilty of... but "You Only Live Once" unquote... and so, for either a Pre'arranged Delivery, or even for you to Pick'Up Yourself? the 'Service' from each of the Chokri Staff is both very Friendly, and it is always Efficient whilst they remain eager to please their many Happy 'n Hungry Customers...😜 Well Done Guys, and from us with Best Wishes, we will see you again soon!
