Dropped in for an evening meal with the kids - friendly service, great food and some really nice beer - best nachos ever, I think. Excellent music from Saltrox, later, too
I visited the Salt Barge with my wife, 2 daughters, grandaughter & 2 great granddaughter's for my birthday, the service & the food was excellent, will certainly be visiting again and can certainly recommend.
Went it this evening for a birthday meal and a band called the Assets were on - they were amazing !! Great food, great atmosphere and fantastic music ! Thank you !!
We had another great meal at the Salt barge lovely service and food excellent always reasonable price and has a homely feel to it.
Lovely welcome for us and our dog The menu offers a lovely variety of food and it is delicious, well worth a visit
We went for food on Saturday lunch time, it was absolutely gorgeous!! Fish and chips (homemade) was huge! Totally worth a visit and excellent value for money especially given the high standard of food and service we received! X
I visited when the pub have just reopened and there was a good vibe. The kitchen wasn't yet re-opened so I didn't sample the food. People seemed positive and I'd go back again
The beer was really good. Bar staff
extremely informative, comfortable surroundings definitely spend another night there when i'm passing.
Great atmosphere, but unfortunately, they don't serve food on Tuesdays. I had adjusted our Trent & Mersey holiday to take in the Salt Works Museum across the street and have lunch, but not to be.
Called in here a number of times now and always been welcomed by the staff.
Got a pool table out the back and a nice little beer garden for when the sun is out but also a gazebo if it's not.
Dog friendly and opposite the salt museum for those wanting a little local history.
Absolutely amazing the girls are awesome they have transformed the place 1000% improved xx
Live music on Thursday evenings is very enjoyable. Nice pub and good beer
A very enjoyable evening spent at the Salt Barge. Good pint of Shropshire Gold. Enjoyed listening to the acoustic musicians.
We visited on a Thursday lunchtime when the pub was extremely quiet. Our welcome was friendly and the menu, though limited, was reasonably priced.
The food took a little while to arrive but looked appetising and all four of us enjoyed our meal. The coffee was served in very large cups, a nice ending to our meal.
Sadly this pub looks a little tired and past its best but it is deserving of support.
Great pub very close to the T&M canal and the Lion Salt Works (Well worth a visit) and has real ales from local breweries and the usual range of lagers, ciders etc. Nice grub too. Handy place to moor if your on a boat.
The staff are lovely and there's plenty of decent ale on tap. Driving? No worries the coffee is brilliant!!
Lovely pub with a very relaxing ambient atmosphere. Yesterday I tried 3 different beers 2 from Tatton Brewery and 1 from Salopian Brewery. Tatton Best being my favourite. There was live sport on the televisions but this was not overpowering and the Motown music in the background added to this wonderful pub experience
