Called here for tea last night. Lovely place! I had southern fried chicken burger which was very nice. Husband had the ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection and one of the best he has eaten out.The food was 5* would definitely recommend you go and try it. Hope the boatyard is a great success for the owners!
Myself and 3 mates had an evening meal here last Thursday, wow what a great place. The food was amazing and the staff were attentive and friendly. I will go back and would definitely recommend.
Went here on Saturday night and it was very busy, we were aware that 2 members off staff hadn’t turned into work and yet food was amazing and service was spot on(a little slow but that was to be expected with the circumstances and they explained that so we didn’t mind �) would definitely go again and recommend anyone to go
We really enjoyed our trip to the Boat Yard. Lovely atmosphere, brilliant staff and the food was amazing. Really good home cooked food. Prices in the higher side but well worth it.

We had a lovely meal here last night, my partner said it was the best steak and ale pie he’s had. My veggie burger meal was delicious. Great people and great bar, we will be back.
What a great place,me and hubby called in on the of chance of getting a Sunday dinner and we were not disappointed, we both had Sunday dinner and pudding and the food was fresh hot and cooked perfectly the staff were very friendly and helpful all dressed very smartly. Will Defo be back.
Felt right at home, lovely atmosphere, warm welcome, attentive staff, food was perfect in every way, absolutely delicious and reasonable portions, cocktails were spot on, nothing was too much trouble, all five of our party would all recommend and will definitely be back as very enjoyable.

Lovely good home cooked food with really professional and friendly atmosphere. We turned up Saturday early evening having not booked and we were given a table downstairs. The food was plentiful, delicious and all homemade. I would definitely recommend and we will be back.
Excellent food and service, 17 of us went for Easter lunch, kids loved it too! Would highly recommend x
Hidden Gem - Must Visit!
We had passed the sign for this place many times on the main road. I'm so glad we finally went! Place is lovely and staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks selection is great with decent wines and cocktails. We sat out by the canal waving to the boats as they passed and felt like we were on holiday. Then the food arrived and we were in heaven. Utterly delicious, cooked to perfection, nicely presented. Didn't want it to end. Will definitely be coming here again as soon as I can!
Great asset to Northwich! Lovely homemade food and very polite attentive staff. I planned this meal for 12 of us as a surprise 50th. I was allowed to bring my homemade birthday cake and decorate which was more thoughtful. Everyone enjoyed the meal and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you to Brad and the team for a great night!
Staff were very friendly, food took a while but we were in no rush and it was definitely worth waiting for, lovely atmosphere and pleasant surroundings watching the boats go by. Will definitely be coming again. Sunday roast was particularly good with fresh veg
A really lovely tucked away restaurant. The views to the marina are also a bonus. The service was brilliant and the food was good quality and well priced.
Excellent Sunday roast. The food was very good and well presented, the beef especially was superb. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The bistro itself has a very welcoming and cosy feel to it, once we finished eating we moved outside and sat by the canal to finish our drinks. The outside seating is fun to being made up of car bobbins of different sizes. Overall it was a very pleasant experience
Pleasant, welcoming greeting from staff before being shown to our table. Drinks while we looked through the menu - not a huge selection but ample choices for most diners. Everything seems to be cooked fresh (our table was near enough the kitchen to see and hear what was happening) but without any long delay. We both enjoyed our meals with attentive but not intrusive service.
I'm sorry that this place is in the process of changing hands - the chef clearly works hard to produce good food. But success brings more customers, with more work and stress. Best of luck to the present owners going forward and I hope new owners continue the quality service.

Love this place, the owners are so friendly always make sure you are okay etc, they work very hard to ensure everything is great! the staff are lovely, polite & efficient! nothing is too much trouble, The food is on another level, cooked fresh, plenty of it, tastes delicious and worth every penny! so lucky to have the Boat Yard on our door step! 5* HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Excellent venue for a fantastic evening. Family run and it demonstrates a great atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. The food is very good and at a great price. I can highly recommend the T Bone steak but advise to ask for it at the time of booking. The wine drinks are reasonable priced and a good range of Gins. You will not be disappointed at the Boat Yard a great restaurant.
What a place, had Sunday lunch for nine of us, what a delight, meat was delicious veg just perfect and topped with a gigantic Yorkshire pudding, exceptional value for money all served by very pleasant staff, will certainly be visiting again, perhaps T Bone steak next time!!! Thanks to the chef for a lovely meal from us all

My daughters had steak and ale pie which they loved. My partner had roast beef. Food was served piping hot. Chips are amazing too!

Attended a small party held on the top floor. Lovely cosy space with a small bar. Buffet food was fantastic. Good range of dishes, all beautifully cooked. Friendly staff too.
