If you have not been to Tyme On The Waterfront then please do it is a truly lovely place to go and have good carribean food. Every dish on the menue is mouth wateringly good. The cocktails are delicious and the family that own and run the restaurant are really amazing, warm and friendly. It is a must try so come on people if you have not experienced this place then make it your next restaurant in your list. I absolutely love the place.
Such a lovely place, great customer service so so friendly and the food was delicious. You can really feel how passionate the owners are through the food and talking to them. Went for dinner with my family, good selection for kids too. Will definitely recommend!

First encounter at Tyme for us was a lovely warm experience. The welcome is lovely, food fantastic, atmosphere just right.
Celebrated my fabulous 60! birthday in April at Tyme with 21 of my family and friends and oh my, what an experience! My guests all enjoyed the superb food, service was second to none and nothing was too much to ask.
The taste of my experience is still very sweet!

Fantastic upmarket place. Good value, authentic food, and great decor and atmosphere.. a nice jazzy vibe going on. Friendly staff - beats anything else in the area. Good for dates and group outtings, will also be coming with family next time too :).. had the jerk chicken, came on a bed of spinache and plantain, with a jug of gravey and rice on the side, would recommend :)

Celebrated my freind Floyd's birthday last Saturday at Tyme my first visit .Great choices on the menu , hard to choose ,which was a good problem , .Food was delicious I had BONELESS curry goat, a first for me and it was perfect (compliments to the chef and his team ) Superb classy and comfortable chilled atmosphere with sweet soul and reggae classics background music and music videos that took me way back.Couldnt stop my head bopping to the great grooves ( and quietly scatting along , well .. it had to be done , I know I wasn't the only one ! ) . Staff serving were warm friendly and professional and treated us like royalty , .Excellent value for money , classy , chilled ! As Arnie says "I'll definately be back ,I'm determined to sample the rest of the items on that menu.Highly recommended thanks again Tyme.A top carribean restaurant that's doing it and doing it well ,BRAVO👏😉👍

Great British-Caribbean food, attractive presentation, at reasonable prices. Parking can be tricky. Interior needs a bit of updating but the canal view is lovely. Give it a try!!

Genuinely the best carribean food I've had at a restaurant. The curry goat was exceptional and the presentation was immense. Gorgeous family run restaurant, and the entire family was so attentive, friendly and funny! We had such a lovely evening and will be inviting friends and whoever will listen to join me on the next visit. Amazing food, firm yummy cocktails and a lovely environment. What an absolutely lovely place. Great Caribbean food, wonderful service. From the minute I walked in I felt as though I were part of a family. Greeted with such warmth. The service and delicious food was second to none. We were treated to some nice easy listening music whilst we had our meal and the view was simply gorgeous.

Delicious food and freshly cooked. We had Jerk chicken and seabass with rum and cream sauce. Chicken was very tender and juicy. Seabass was flavourful. Family run restaurant that made you feel welcomed. Place decor is warm and inviting. Clean and pleasing . Highly recommend Tyne on the waterfront
Nice decor, good ambiance, the house live jazz player is a nice touch if a little too loud to have an easy conversation. This is only let down by the food, it wasnt terrible, the salmon was over cooked, lacked a bit of flavour. The staff were helpful.

Food is absolutely delicious and there is a nice view of the marina. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Careful - the cocktails pack quite a punch if your drinking habits are not up to British standards. Vegetarian options are a bit limited.
