Big portion of fish and chips, asked for it to be well wrapped as i was walking home, and it was lovely and hot when i got in, best fish and chips in ages.
Excellent haddock and chips for late lunch, freshly cooked to order. Great value.
The food was lovely and the girls were amazing, really helpful and friendly.
Was a pleasant surprise how much they had in the way of vegetarian and vegan options. Tried the veggie nuggets and were amazing. Chips were lovely too. Hope they keep it up as it's one of the few with so much choice.

The best fish and chips I have had for ages, and I eat it regularly. Lovely fresh, white fish, golden, crispy batter and yummy chips in plentiful supply. Highly recommended. I went into the shop but you can get a Deliveroo delivery and they were being packed up and going out just as fresh with those drivers

I used to visit this fish and chip shop as a child as I lived around the corner from there and it was a favourite tradition of mine that we would have this as a treat every Wednesday.
I moved to the other end of Gravesend about 18 years ago and for obvious reasons haven't been going there I've often had cravings for the 1/4-pounder burgers from there as they had a distinct flavour.
Just lately all of our local fish and chip shops have gone downhill and we see this pop up on one of the takeaway apps so thought we would give it a try and my god I was transported back to my childhood, the burgers have that exact same taste and all the rest of the food was superb.
I assumed it had been taken over by now and after visiting in person last week I see that the elderly gentleman who used to run it is no longer there and it now looks very different to how it did all those years ago but I'm assuming it has been kept in the family as they must be using the same suppliers.
The only negative I have is the prices are expensive, especially through the takeaway apps... in my opinion I'm happy to pay more for decent quality food but admittedly this is getting a little close to be being too expensive.

An excellent fish and chip shop. You have to wait a wee while for the fish but its worth the wait as the food is delicious. My friends rave about this place and I can only give equal high ratings. The fish was tasty and the chips first rate. Without doubt this street has the best fish and chip shops.

Top takeaway.... My hubby fancied Fish & Chips for his birthday and was not disappointed at all. COD was freshly cooked and delicious, the portions were perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming here again and most definitely be recommending to friends & family. 😁👍🏻
Really lovely, freshly cooked fish and chips. Certainly one of the best I've ever tried. Very pleasant and happy to take phone orders. Large Cod is large and plenty for a hungry person. Chips portion is reasonable but very good qualify.
