Lovely cafe, serving a delicious all-day breakfast and drinks. Hands down best Full English breakfast and very good value for money. It's dog friendly and would definitely come back here again.

Got to say great compared to 3 to 4 years ago. I stopped going as really rude staff & poor food. Now the Food brilliant, the young staff very helpful if a little naive but the manageress was first class. Will be going a lot more now. ( TBF the experience was so different I assume new owners?)

Located just around the corner from the popular Billing Aquadrome, we were staying there and very nearly missed this little gem! The Quays is litterally right outside the park and it was where we were headed, I’m sure we would have had an ok Breakfast, but it was shut due to staff shortages so we took to Google…..an extra 5 min walk and we fell upon Buttery Cafe. The breakfast was very tasty, the staff were friendly, the decor/surroundings were great….and it wasn’t even expensive! If you’re staying at the Aquadrome, WALK THE EXTRA FIVE MINUTES!!

My friend and I happened upon this restaurant by accident and were very pleased with the service and the food; polite and helpful staff and generous portions of food! Polly came over once we started eating and offered to hold the baby whilst we ate as he became a little restless and she kept him until my friend had finished her meal, which is very rare but wonderfully welcomed. As i have a sensitivity to sound and usually wear my Cans it wasnt too loud and i managed to not wear them much. Needless to say we will be returning again on our next monthly meet up. Thank you to Polly and the rest of the staff at The Buttery.

Arrived as they opened so difficult to judge the atmosphere. Food was great with a good variety and staff friendly. Would go again when in the area.

Went here today with one of my mates, We are not vegetarian but don’t eat pork so we asked for the full English and swapped the bacon and sausage for vegetarian sausage and grilled cheese. Reply was no problem, will definitely be going back great food and friendly staff , top marks people .

1st visit- have to say blown away. Lovely atmosphere to enjoy a breakfast. Which was excellently cooked. All food hot and fresh. Even the Latte was hot, none of that chain cold rubbish here. We will definitely have some return visits 😊

Nice cafe/restaurant, with plenty of lunch options and nice scones. Be aware that the afternoon tea option needs to be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
