We had our son's christening after party here today. The staff have been amazing, literally met all our needs. The communication has been spot on. They have gone above and beyond to make it enjoyable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. Also it's in a lovely location 😊
We didn't eat anything the last time we visited the wheatsheaf that's why I've given it 1 star. This is a traditional pub with a really good atmosphere but not the cheapest place for a night out.
We recently held our sons 18th birthday party ,the staff here at absolutely amazing,we had an area of the pub sectioned off and we all had a great time , the party food was reasonably priced and the quality and selection was just perfect , the staff went above and beyond and wouldn't hesitate to use
Beautiful pub bigger than it looks from the outside. Have decided to hold my 60th birthday party here 🙂

Great pub with wide selection of drinks, friendly and knowledgeable staff, incredible food.
A fantastic country pub with good food and beers. Then you realise your basically in the middle of northampton and its 100% gluten free and its all the better.
My wife is Gluten intolerant, this is the first time we have gone anywhere that she could eat absolutely anything on the menu.
The food was excellent and the selection of pies is quite something. Loads of meat in the pies too!
There is also a good choice of starters & deserts.

Really nice out of the way pub. We got a cheese platter with sausage rolls that was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be visiting again ☺️
Absolutely blown away by the menu and the delicious homemade pies. So exciting to have a menu that's completely gluten free, as I usually get stuck making do with whatever I can find for gluten free meals out.
There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff.
