After a long and challenging day 7 of us ended up at the Knightly Arms one evening. We received an outstandingly warm welcome and spent some hours there recharging our flagging spirits. Most grateful to all the staff we interacted with who were all superb. If you are ever in doubt that true hospitality is dead....please visit this venue....your faith will undoubtedly be restored. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you Knightly Arms.

Really glad Knightley has re-opened, Jacqui is doing a fantastic job with food, drinks and events. Oktoberfest a go go!! Update: New opening hours and lunch time menu is possibly what I needed to know for Mondays when I'm WFH. Note, Fish finger sarnie and chunky chips really hits the spot.

Great local village pub. My only gripe was that the stools were uncomfortable after sitting through a televised football match.

Above & beyond service. 7 of us on a narrowboat whose power blew, arrived on Wed evening when kitchen not open. However, the incredibly friendly & helpful bar staff & landlady agreed to allow us to order ready meals from the quite fabulous Squ!sito deli across the road & heated them up for us, providing a serving area. Could not be more thrilled & delighted, thinking we were out of dinner options. What an utterly brilliant village pub

Lovely pub, mid refurb but didn't affect our lunch. Great food and very welcoming Landlady. Will definitely be returning ASAP. Highly recommend 👌

This is an awesome little pub. Loved it so much we were quite happy to walk the 30 mins along the towpath from where we were moored multiple times just for a quick pint. The moment we first walked in we were greeted with a warm and friendly, hello, welcome, nice to meet you, and that warm was extended every visit. The folks have not long taken over this pub and are doing a good job of it. Nice pint at a very reasonable price, cheapest I've paid for a long time. They offer stone baked pizza or fish and chips for a tenner. We booked a fish and chips for 3, for 7.30 on Friday. We arrived on time and it was there, hot, fresh and boxed up ready to go, with sauces etc included. We had the option to eat in if we wished, which we did. It was delicious. Gave 4 stars simply because of the lack of choice on the menu, however, as hubby rarely gives even 3 stars to most places, this is a really good rating from him. I can't wait to see how well they've done when we come back this way next year on our travels.

A wonderful Sunday lunch and a great place to break up the road trip. Currently being renovated but don't be put off by the exterior. Only point of note is that the bathrooms are in real need of TLC as they could put some customers off. The owner / landlady is very pleasant and could not do enough to make you enjoy your dining experience.

Looks amazing with all the new renovation works and there’s more work to be done which we’re keen to come back and see. We love this place and the lady who runs it now (Jacki) is absolutely lovely. We love the place so much they are helping us with our outdoor wedding event by running a bar and all of our catering needs. The one and only person we’d trust with all that is Jacki, and she’s managed to cater to 100% of our requests. Absolute diamond of a lady!

This was our second visit while on a canal holiday on the Grand Union Canal. Both visits have been fun. The pub is now under new management. We were made welcome. Nice food reasonably priced and a good pint of local ale. Enjoyed our game of pool..

Great little village pub, new management doing a fantastic job. Very friendly atmosphere, pizzas are delicious, soon to taste the Sunday lunch which I'm sure will be equally as nice. Great selection of drinks, and lively staff.

Very polite staff, food was great, had to wait a little longer than I would have liked but the wait was well worth it. Highly recommend you book a table before you go as they did run out of food so a few disappointed people that just turned up. Well worth a try and I will go back then in the area.

Went to a private 18th birthday party there. Was very well organised and nothing was too much trouble. Even though very busy, staff worked hard with a smile and ready to help if needed. Met new landlords, Carl and Jac, friendly and had a good chat with them. We've heard their Sunday roasts are excellent. Will definitely be going to try out.
