Came to this eatery based on the reviews and safe to say that this is a GEM of a place in Northampton.
The service is outstanding with the staff and owner being so attentive and the venue is pleasant and clean.
The food is AMAZING and certainly the best we have had in the town for Authentic Indian food. All starters were superb (Paneer Tikka, Veg Manchurian, Chilli Paneer, Chicken Seekh) and the Hyderbadi Fish starter is a MUST, never had anything like that before and you can see why its a best seller.
We tried the Saag Chicken and Egg Biryani also which were both superbly spiced and made and generous portions too. The naans and rotis are super too.

I have visited this place few times but never got chance to write review. Everytime I visit this, it amazes me it's taste. I haven't finished trying their all of the dishes but some of them are my all time favourite e.g. tikka starters, vegetable fried rice with spring onion is really awesome. Other include Manchurian, Chinese noodles, and chicken lollipop. Few items like jeer fried rice quantity is low. Overall vegetarian items quantity is a bit low than non-vegetarian.
Recently I celebrated my wife's birthday here and our guests were very happy with the food.

The very best place to have Authentic North Food.
Had my son's birthday party at the Aroma of India and it was wonderful.
Being a connoisseur when it comes to Indian food, I can quote confidently that this is a proper authentic Indian restaurant offering some really special ethnic options. The owner Arvind has taken special care to ensure he gives the customers the real feel of the popular Indian cuisine which means the quality standards are very high. Their Indo-chinese is a delicacy not to be missed. If you are based in Northampton and around, this is the place to definitely visit!
Thought I would treat myself to a curry and was not disappointed. Starters and mains were delicious, service was great and staff could not do enough.i will definitely ea here again.
Easy to reserve a table online. Lovely atmosphere and great service. The food was really and very reasonable prices. Definitely recommended.
The food was very tasty and got authentic taste like india and i loved the surrounding there also their service is 10/10 I really loved the vibe in there recently they even did a new renovation perfect for a pictures and party

We'd highly recommend any traditional dish but if you're unsure, just ask the staff or owner, they'll happily help you! Finally, make sure you finish your dinner with a Gulab Jamun, pure delight!

very good service. returned here after a while and the staff was wonderful, greeted me at the front door and found me he perfect seat. good lighting too- not too dark or bright. the food was authentic and tasted very much like that of home, the wait time was not too long either. the waiters were very polite and recognised us from last time; hope to come again soon :)
Food is ok. Taste is good but seems they keep the spice level low for non Indian customers.
Amazing experience, I ordered the Paneer Makhan Masala along with 3 garlic naans. The food portions were great and it seemed like we were getting value for our money unlike some other places. The Paneer Makhan Masala was creamy and melted in our mouth and the naan was soft. The only downside is during busy times there is a rush of people causing the food arriving times to be delayed ( 15-30 mins) but I would definitely say that the wait is worth it.

I came here with my family recently and it was one of my most favourite restaurant experiences so far. I thoroughly enjoyed the vast range of items in the menu; all the food looked absolutely delicious. The staff who took the order for us were incredibly sweet and informed us on what to get when we were unsure. They instigated a lovely conversation and throughout our stay the came to check up on us and whether we have any needs, truly one of the kindest and most caring service experiences. When we first entered, we were greeted by the owner and he informed us about his restaurant while helping us find the perfect table, a genuinely caring soul. He showed so much enthusiasm and joy which brightened up our night and remained effortlessly helpful to us. When the food arrived, it was efficient and right on time. The taste was almost home-made and it made me feel as if I was truly in India. My compliments fall directly to the talented chef who made this night so wonderful for my family and myself.

This place is amazing. I went here for a trip earlier and saw the eye catching sign “aroma of India” and a Punjabi statue outside almost as if it was welcoming you in. The atmosphere inside was good with a dark crimson theme and the lights added to the ambience. So the setting was good however what really matters is the food. It was a Friday night so it was kind of busy and the food took quite long to come (around 20 minutes) but when it came it was fresh and worth the wait. The naan was soft and a bit crunchy, the butter chicken melted in my mouth and the mixed grill was steaming. We accidentally over ordered but the staff packed it for us to take home. Overall the experience was very nice and I would highly recommend others to come here but be prepared to wait a little bit on busy days however the wait is definitely worth it.
