Friendly staff and very tasty food in a lovely village. Certainly worth visiting.
Been impressed with the cleanliness of it. Lovely garden, lots of sunshades tables. Welcomed dogs. The food was at an reliable price and amazing taste. The girls had so much fun. Free parking (plenty of spaces available even on a crowded day).
Will definitely recommend to families with children and to the paws owners ☺️🐶
Perfect vibe for a nice sunny weekend pint and chat. Garden is great in the sun. Nice selection of drinks. Friendly staff. All you need from a pub in my opinion.
Great beer garden, great food, friendly staff. 2nd year we've visited, recommend!
Went for lunch today, and had a great time. Sadly we had to shoot off due to a business meeting, otherwise we would’ve happily stayed longer!
Me and hubby both had fish and chips, with a couple of blue moons.. Came out fresh, and piping hot. Really tasty. Finished it all off with a couple of desserts.. and two very full bellies!! We will definitely be back :-)
Had the Sunday Roast, lovely fresh food, liked how the cauliflower cheese came on a separate dish. On one occasion, I had to search for the bar staff when I needed an extra fork. Had a good atmosphere with everyone eating or just chatting at the bar. Would certainly retun if and when in the area again
Great pub. Very accomodating to picky children and great sized portions. Would recommend!
Very pleasant village pub. I've only used it mid-afternoon for a coffee, but Service was always quick and friendly. Coffee was fine as well.
Friendly staff, prompt service and great food!
Dropped in for lunch after a recommendation from a old mate.. not disappointed, the service was great the hosts were very welcoming and the meal was fabulous will definitely be back. Nice beer too.
We visited on 25th March and staff (young lady) was brilliant. We hope that she who assisted us is made aware, she was friendly, knowledgable. We were made aware immediately of what was not available from the menu (1 item). The chicken pie was gorgeous, great portion size (loads of chicken). The landlady provided good entertainment with singing and guitar. Dogs accommodated which was much appreciated as we had visitors with dogs. All in all a great experience and would definitely recommend. We will definitely come again.
Really nice country pub, and great if you are staying in one of the local hotels that may not serve food in the evenings. It is a very short 5 minute walk from The Poplars hotel, and serves food until 8:30pm. If you're eating a little later in the evening, best to ring ahead and make sure food will still be served.
I can guarantee a warm, hearty pub meal upon ordering. The pie is a proper pie, served in a dish encased totally in pastry. Desserts were nice, but again, if you're eating later in the evening, be prepared for a few of the desserts to be sold out.
All in all, just a really nice country pub, with a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. Say hi to the dog! It's a lovely old timer and such a cute dog. Loves to be petted.
Always a good atmosphere in this village pub. Especially good when the Morris dancers are there for the village festival. Excellent ales.
Fantastic little jewel situated in the small town of Moulton just a stone's throw away from Northampton.
Friendly locals venture this pub and next to the even friendlier menu of beers, the kitchen prepares mouth watering home made English meals.
Visit this place when you have the chance!
Nice beer quick service. Didn't get food but it looks like it would be good!
Had driven down from Durham that evening and arrived late in evening wanting to eat. Had just missed kitchens closing but chef still accommodated us. Had an amazing home cooked meal which was much needed. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
