Walter Tull - Northampton - Photo album

Went to this pub with my son and we enjoyed a combination of picky bits on a shared platter. The food was lovely and we also enjoyed a beer served with a smile and poured to perfection. I returned again with my wife and we chose the skillet meals. My wife had the hunters chicken skillet and I had th
Extremely friendly staff and very accommodating! Lovely spacious pub with great draught beers!! Food was good, dessert were great too! Didn't have to wait too long for food either and great portion sizes! Will deffo be visiting again when nearby!
A most pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We arrived just before 12 before the lunch started. Before that they served what looked like a very nice breakfast. The place is quite open and well laid out. Easy access if someone has mobility issues with plent
Food took a while but it was busy we didn't mind the wait as was chatting away anyway, when food arrived although a long wait everything was piping hot and delicious, way worth the money. Recommend the chick n mix menu and the signature burgers super moist hot and yummy. Fantastic service too.
Had lovely meal with my wife and wonderful friends. Service was excellent as was the food and didn’t have to wait ages for our food to arrive at our table. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends and will definitely visit again in the near future
Lovely steak sharer platter for main and a delicious pudding. Dining area is separate from bar area which is nice when eating. Not too busy but we did eat at 8.00pm on a Friday. Fast service and waitress was really pleasant. Music was also good-sone 90's classics 👌
Reserved a table for six to attend the Leicester City match. The food and service was excellent and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. Had a brilliant day and would highly recommend the Walter Tull to anyone visiting Northampton.Thank you so much. Best Regards Robbie and Charley.
Stopped for something to eat on the way back from a trip away. Late afternoon so pub wasn't very busy. Friendly staff and service was quick. Food was nice and will definitely go in again.
I wanted to take a moment to provide some feedback on a waitress called Paula , she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel incredibly welcome. Her attentiveness throughout the entire dining experience was truly remarkable. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendati
It was the first time we had visited this pub restaurant. We didn't book, we just walked in and was seated straight away. They were very short staffed so had to wait a long time for our meal. My Husband had the mixed grill and it looked huge, even though it wasn't the XL large one. Mine was Enchila
The staff here are absolutely fabulous. We prebooked as large group of 21 adults and 2 babies. We all ordered separately and we were all served at the sane time so we could all eat together. So friendly and the food was delicious
First time in here today around 4.15. Really surprised at how good it was under the 2 for 12.99offer. Chips were as they should be, but rarely are, crispy outside and fluffy inside, not those anaemic soggy looking ones some pubs just warm up. Gammon well cooked very little fat. Egg runny but cooked
Although heavily understaffed brilliant service good food. The young lady serving at the bar was brilliant. Could not fault her professionalism and ability to deal with the pressure of the job in hand, even when some of the customers were being quite rude.
Lovely lunch at the Walter Tull this afternoon. Ordered through the app from the table, all very easy to use and pay. Had Abbie serving us, she was lovely and kept us happy. Will be back soon for more delicious affordable food and great service.
Excellent pub, great food, great service came today and had an excellent meal and great prices. Been 3 times and will definitely be back.
