I went to this pub yesterday with two friends it was my birthday, I had to send my meal back twice . The lady behind the bar was so helpful and understanding she went out of her way to assist me and make my birthday meal nice she even paid for my meal and I the chef prepared me a delightful dessert I would would recommend this pub the delightful service was amazing friendly I have never been treated so nicely when complaining about a meal thank you to the staff I will come again

Absolutely love this place, come here regularly, service is great and to food is good, I consider this place to be my local pub to go to, even though it’s the other side of town for me

Very nice and friendly staff, lots of different drinks from soft to alcoholic to choose from, food is quick after ordering and is hot, lots to do on week nights and at weekends, huge beer garden at rear away from the main road
Went here on my birthday on Saturday very busy and hot and the staff were amazing all smiling even though they looked shattered. This pub has changed for the better a few years back i wouldn't of stepped in the place. Keep it up Stacey and the team

As a director for SportUnity i was extremely happy with the service from the spinney hill pub. Stacey really helped up us to run a fantastic funday! She was hands on and really supported us before and on the day. There was some lovely food provided and all the staff were happy to help when needed.
Went for a meal for my mums 70th birthday yesterday sat 25th march .couldnt fault a thing .such friendly staff and food was lovely .my mum enjoyed every minute of her surprise meal .will be coming back again .thank u so much .
Service second to none. Salad came with onion not mentioned on menu but immediately sorted. To top that bargain dinner for me.

Lovely pub, quite unexpected. Good atmosphere and range of drinks. Small playground and outdoor space for younger kids. Good range of beers and spirits. Only been in the evening and has a good mix of people so feels open and welcoming. It was refurbished in early 2023 so nice interior. We only had starters from the menu which took almost an hour at busy times but enjoyed it overall.
Lively pub which has calmed down a bit since it's refit which briefly made it too busy for my taste. A good range of beers and some spirits. Unfussy food available. Fantastic garden with well spaced tables so you can enjoy food or a drink even if someone nearby is smoking. There is a good vibe here and a good mix of people.
Met a friend for a drink, her granddaughters had children's meal. We didn't eat so can't comment on food. Service & staff very friendly. We will go again & have food.
Unlike our bad experience at the Britannia yesterday, it was so warm and welcoming! The service what the staff provided, was extremely excellent! The food which was lovely, tasty and piping hot was served within quarter of an hour! What a wonderful experience after yesterday's disappointment! Thank you so much, Mrs. Renate England
Excellent pub and great atmosphere! We are from out of town but was made to feel extremely welcome and had a great day. The food was delicious, would definitely recommend. Couldn't fault it.
Great decor and food was really good and reasonably priced (I had the hunters chicken), huge beer garden too, a fab place to go to meet with friends or a family meal.
Really friendly, happy staff. Food was fantastic, served quickly and with a smile. Great atmosphere in the pub, lovely gardens and play area for the kids. Can't believe we haven't been here before as it's almost on our doorstep and we've lived here for years. Been to other Greene King pubs around Northamptonshire, none of which come anywhere near close to Spinney Hill.
Been quite a few times now and quite frankly the food is very average, wouldn’t recommend the Ale pie as it always comes with a rock solid crust, you need a hammer & chisel to open it. Beers are good but on the pricey side, probably paying towards the redecoration.
Loving the new look and feel of the place since the renovation. Has a great beer garden for the summer. Good food and drinks menu reasonably priced and is dog friendly. Great customer service, even when it's busy.

Decent sized Car Park (dont drink and drive), big Garden, Live Sports so can watch the footy, darts board, wheelchair accessible.
We had a Drink here for part of our mates Stag, the guy we dealt with was Jack, who was nice enough to book us a space for FREE as we were paying for food (we opted for the buffet), and obviously a fair bit of alcohol too (lumbertubs wanted £50). Variety of drinks. Toilets seemed clean when i was sober enough to remember. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. This is a Green King pub so can also order on the app
Plan to visit again in the future. They are taking part in the the Season ticket app thing, so FREE drink for signing up and 10% off drinks whilst football is on.
Improvements they could make for the future
- Slush machine like they used to many moons ago
- Put Purple Rain on the cocktail menu
- Get a pool table
Plenty of space for the kiddos to run free, decent well priced grub & good selection of cider. Great stuff

The pub has been refurbished and done well. The food was good (we had burgers), the staff friendly, and the atmosphere was lively.
Great outside space and garden with heaters and covered area including a TV showing the current sports.
Good food too and good prices
Very busy pub, very lively atmosphere, bank holiday Sunday and last game of the season with the sun shining.
