I absolutely loved this place it was different the staff were extremely friendly the views from the top deck were great it's a hidden gem of Northampton and more people need to discover the ark
A lovely unique venue which is just crying out to be visited ! Holding regular events - and hopefully more will be coming in 2017 - it is also available for private hire, and I for one would recommend it for sure. With wonderfully warm and welcoming hosts and the style and decadence of days gone by, what better way to sip a glass on the top deck in the fairy lit beauty of the riverside?
We just had a small get together with the Team of 40 to celebrate our successful financial year. The organisation and food were excellent. I can not recommend the venue and team highly enough, very attentive to our needs. We asked what they could do for us two weeks ago and they took care of all the rest. Brilliant, we will be seeing you again soon I hope. Thanks from us all for a great afternoon.
What a lovely little gem in Northampton! We had a great time Saturday in the sun with some delicious food , go you will love it ! And the dude that hosts the comedy night is gorgeous , total eye candy .

Beautiful vegan cakes, which change regularly, so you don't get bored of the same thing. Great tea and coffee. Very friendly and welcoming.
We had some nice plant-based food and Oreo milkshake at The Ark.
The location is really pleasant, next to the UoN, the park and cycle/walking trail. The ship's captain is super-nice too :) Highly recommended.
Often pop in here after a walk or cycle ride. Quirky venue.

Great location- 5 mins from town centre yet on a river and near a marina , park and Delapre Abbey to explore!
Watching the kids at the skate park also a bonus.
Will definitely be returning in autumn to admire the Arks new coat of paint.
Super friendly staff and the milkshakes are TO DIE FOR. The top deck in the summer is gorgeous by the river too.
All vegan always makes me happy! Had the full English which was really good, would love to see more lunch options with tofu or tempeh. Had the loveliest staff and atmosphere as well, will be coming back for afternoon tea for sure 🤩

Vegan coffee shop by day, unique and beautiful events venue by night! Fabulous location, great produce (including home made bhajis and fresh cakes) and ran by a super friendly family! P.s even dogs are welcome 🐶

Attended a fabulously hosted EP release of Emily Faye on the Ark. Great service, fabulous venue and friendly helpful staff. We will be looking to use this venue in very near future! What a night too 😊🤟
Great find, very friendly staff and great place to take my vegan daughter. Would be good though if breakfast was served all day and probably could do with a bit of music to create a bit of atmosphere. Pet friendly to.

Nice venue something different not to big and upper deck would be great in summer although it was used by us in january

Even on a grey October morning, this was a great place to come for brunch! The Ark has been on my vegan radar for a while and it was great to see what they had to offer.
My wife and I ordered an oat flat white each, which was well made and hit the spot. I went for the tofu scramble and my wife the avo toast. The tofu was good and replicated those 'eggy' flavours well. I'd say it was a little bland and I'd have expected two slices of toast for the price (same amount of scramble). The hot sauce definitely helped and I appreciated them finding some for me.
The vibe of the place is great - I think they've recently (re?)decorated and it shows. I can imagine this being cool for parties, especially if you can make use of the top, outdoor level in good weather.
I will come back here at some point for one of their dinner-event evenings to see how they do main dishes. It's great to have a fully vegan option in town! For those that care, there's two Pokemon Go gyms in easy reach of the The Ark and a few 'stops.
