Absolutely first class food and service!
Came over from Cambridge to see my parents in Northampton and we came to The County for dinner. I'm coeliac so have to be very careful about what I eat and what my food comes into contact with, but nothing was too much ch trouble for the staff here, who went the extra mile to ensure my meal was free of contact with anything containing gluten.
Everyone had an amazing meal and the portions were huge.
I'll definitely come back to The County whenever I'm in Northampton.

Was quiet on arrival due to hot weather and others choosing to sit outside or go to another pub with a garden . Staff were immediately attentive and were more than happy to help with choice of wine and offering a taste to make sure it’s what we’d like . we were very impressed with the wine, and the price.and the staff.
We had Sunday lunch, roast beef for me, turkey for my best friend Jon, we both loved the fact that it was served hot not Luke warm like some places and what everyone expects from a Sunday roast
We decided it was the best we’d had in a long time.
Service from all the staff was fantastic.
We also noticed that the empathy and familiarity with customers who must be regulars was a joy to see and rare in these days. Big shout out to Stanley who was the star of the day with his waiting skills.

Great Pub that does a great job catering for everyone. The food and service are superb, awesome tv for watching sport. If you fancy staying on later you can.
Dog friendly and even came over with treats and water for our dog. was served by a lad called Harvey who was really accommodating and friendly. Food was really nice, Will definitely come back😊
Booked for a big family meal, we were a bit of a pain but the county couldn't have been more accommodating. Thank you to all involved.

The County is a classic favourite pub. Top notch food, drinks, and service. Sports viewing and music are always on point to suit the occasion, and the garden is massive!! Enjoy
Very pleasant evening spent here, after a trip to Rushden.
We had a group Christmas dinner here last week and although the pub was very busy and noisy, we had superb food. It was all delicious, hot and nicely presented. My congratulations to ask the staff, we had a great time!
We had a Sunday lunch there and the food was excellent! The service was very good too! The beef was cooked to perfection and the roasts were crispy, good range of veg. We ordered a side of cauliflower cheese - lovely! Very Cheesy.
We had a Christmas meal here on Friday for a table of 21. We preordered from the 3 course Christmas menu. The food was lovely. All the food came out hot and quick, with no problems. Harvey J looked after us amazingly. He was very helpful, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend The County.
I like this place. Comfortable and nice decor. You can actually have a conversation without shouting over loud music. You can be served at the bar or service brought to your table.
We visited the County Tavern for Sunday lunch today. The service was excellent and the food was second to none. The vegetarian option of nut roast option was extremely tasty. We will definitely be back!
We had a family dinner for a birthday on a Sunday. The food and service were superb even though it was busy The meals were all excellent big portions as well. Try the bean chilli lovely. We will be a regular after this
Just had an amazing meal here. We haven’t been for a long time. The decor is lovely, even the loos are great. Food was amazing, especially the pulled pork and mozzarella burgers. Service was brilliant, the atmosphere was chilled but lively. Will be back very soon.
