Lovely Green King Pub, can't believe I've tried a few other ones and only just tried this one. The location is lovely with a garden area covered with patio and little park for kids. Lots of green space with plenty of tables. Ordered using our phones, which did take a while even though it was very quiet. The staff member brought the food and knew we had ordered our drinks and brought them out after but apologised for the wait. (Normally drinks are brought out first and fast). Good menu and good prices. Friendly staff. Would return again and would have given 5 stars if the service was a little quicker.
We were a party of four and had the carvery as our meal to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was fairly quiet as we ate at lunch time and the food was good and plentiful.
After we'd eaten we took our drinks over to the bar area and sat by the window to chat.
It was a nice atmosphere in the whole of the pub and the staff were friendly. The friend who's birthday it was hadn't visited Overstone Manor before and she was very impressed.
We always find the carvery is good value for money and this pub is a nice place to bring friends.

The pub that just keeps giving! This family and group friendly spot is simply wonderful. We came across it in passing and stopped for a drink outside on a sunny day. There are good sized private event rooms, a carvery with 3 meat options, a massive and varied food / drinks menu, ample seating indoors / outdoors and don’t don’t get me started on the extras! The staff are really helpful and friendly. There’s outdoor play equipment for children, a soft play, pool table, BBQ food and SO MUCH MORE! A win win for everyone.
This place is such an amazing tranquil pub, the staffs are so friendly and the food (carvery) is good 😊. I’ve come here several times with my friends, ill keep coming as and when I want carvery and I’ll definitely recommend this pub for couples and families..

Overall, the majority of staff here are great and very helpful. I visit here on a regular basis and enjoy it. Upon my visit this evening however, staff have been forced to carry hot plates out to customers resulting in them getting blisters on their hands. The pub don't even have the correct first aid to soothe burns so I had to provide personal treatment to the staff. The manager is quite miserable when he decides to show his face, the assistant managers bring great atmosphere though. The manager need to reassess and sort their stuff out and begin to treat their staff better as it's obvious staff are leaving because they've had enough...
This is a friendly pub and restaurant where you can get good value meals. There's plenty of space inside, and also plenty outside for the three days of sunshine each year. The carvery is always a good choice here.
Food was lovely, staff were kind, it was very quite when we went in.
Service was great price is good and place is clean.
Decent menu and good carvery, lovely outdoor area and plenty of parking.

Carvery was tasty. Not too busy when we arrived (1pm on Sunday) but got much busier after that. Could definitely do with a bit of refurb, particularly the booths, as seats were very dirty/stained which makes you wonder about back of house cleanliness.
With outdoor play area and soft play inside. Also they have football pitches for bigger kids. Perfect for family with children. We had a lovely experience. We came here on a Sunday, food came fast we ordered through the app. Lovely lovely view. It’s huge!
Good carvery, no helping yourself at the you can still have moment, but you can still have what you want, just served up by staff, there was only sprouts & red cabbage as veg unfortunately, but could of been because we were there right at end of serving time, 2.30 for carvery, reopens again at 4.30. **Edit**: because for some reason I can't do a separate review, we went here on sunday 16th April 2023, for lunch, an hour before we went we had a phone call to say that only carvery & children's meals were available for some reason, which luckily was ok as we were all having a carvery anyway. The food was very good, really nicely cooked, decent selection of vegetables, & nice thick gravy, like all carveries the price goes up on a weekend, but was worth the money.
