This place is amazing ! We went to celebrate my partners 30th! The food was delicious and the staff are so welcoming and so helpful ! Best place we have been to in a very long time ! Highly recommend this place to anyone !
We had our Valentine’s Day dinner here it was perfect. While we were waiting at the bar for our table Victoria, a waitress, served us drinks and also was our waitress for dinner. It was great service as we didn’t have to wait long between courses and Victoria was often checking everything was okay with the meal and checking we if needed anything. The food was great as it was there Valentine Day menu and we could alter it if needed. Good value for money for what you get.
What a fantastic afternoon, food tasting for our wedding breakfast menu, nothing was too much for Jordan and Vicky to do for us, a food experience I will never forget, and with such delicious food, thankyou to the chef too, so looking forward to our big day x
I took my wife to the church restaurant for our silver wedding anniversary. She expected a meal for two, but we had the whole family at the restaurant for when we arrived.
The staff were amazing, you never felt rushed, or that you were having to wait .... the food was fantastic, everyone managed to find something they looked on the menu ... All in all an amazing night made special by the staff of a beautiful venue
Wonderful staff. Possibly the best waiting team I have experienced out for a long time. Couldn't ask for a more warm welcoming and friendly service. Brilliant help with all fussy eating requirements and options for the vegans and children among us. Nice food and an extremely thoughtful and appreciated birthday surprise at the end of the meal. Definitely recommend it :-)
Had my work's Christmas Party here on 20 Dec. Past experiences at other venues have all been disappointing on the food but The Church Restaurant was amazing!! The three course meal was fantastic, the staff were friendly and professional, the atmosphere was festive and fun. A great night all round!!
I booked a table for a surprise 30th birthday meal for my husband. The management were really helpful in the lead up to the meal with regards to organising a set menu for our party and liaising with me about the finer details for the night. We were really impressed by both the service and food on the night.... as always a great experience!

Fantastic food, fantastic service and a lovely atmosphere. Loved the decor, especially the Christmas tree/lights! Great varied menu choice for my partner and I who are both gluten intolerant. Sticky toffee pudding to die for!! Will definitely be back when we are next in Northampton!
This was the venue chosen by my friend for her wedding meal. The decor was fantastic and the food faultless. Despite having 80+ guest to serve the food arrived hot and beautifully presented. Absolutely would recommend The Church restaurant (northampton ) to anyone looking for that special experience.

The ambience is quite unique. With the many candles flickering, it really gives the venue quite a unique feeling. It’s warm and cosy.
The food is superb and is priced fair.
Had a lovely meal there today, and came away feeling content. Service was excellent and the building is maintained to a very high standard.
If you’ve never been, do give it a try. If you’ve been before, do revisit. I believe a new menu is soon to be released...
Came her for my birthday meal with the hubby,been before as a couple and always found the food and service excellent. Our waitress thus time was super attentive and made ys feel very welcome x

I was impressed with the vegan choices on the menu. What I had was delicious. But I was told by our lovely waitress that if I had asked beforehand I could of had a range of menus sent to me to choose from... well I will just have to do that, hopefully soon, and return.

We held our wedding at The Church on 21st Oct 2023 and it was fantastic. It was the most perfect venue. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building itself is stunning. I liaised with Shannon from start to finish on all the wedding planning and she was there on the day ensuring things ran smoothly and went to plan (which it did!) The food was brilliant, the DJ that I booked through the venue was amazing and had everyone on the dancefloor. We've had so much positive feedback from our guests. We can't thank Shannon and her team enough for all their hard work and for making our big day so special. Would highly recommend!

The food was just delicious, especially the pork sharing boards.
Really family friendly too, with little ones I was expecting to leave early but we all had such a great time my toddler was happy to stay and be entertained by the band and the bar staff.
A very nice meal with warm and friendly service. Super setting, felt very clean and secure, all the right measures and checks in place. Lovely sparkling cutlery and nice tableware. Modern music too! Recommended!

Hosted my mum's 60th here this weekend and we were all so blown away by the spectacular service, food and beautiful venue.
All our guests were so happy with the delicious food.
They really helpful in the planning phase of the party and made it look so beautiful. It was also really child friendly as we had lots of little ones and they were made to feel very welcome.
I would definitely have a party here again, it would make a beautiful wedding venue and can't wait to come back for one of their pop up events. Don't hesitate to book you will not get somewhere this beautiful in this location! Thank you!
Visited for a family birthday party at the weekend . The venue is beautifully steeped in character and history. The bar staff and servers were excellent and very attentive. Enjoyed the food very much, a delicious mixed starter selection, 3 meat roast and lovely desserts (the profiteroles *chefs kiss*). The church specially catered for allergies with no hassle too. I was especially impressed with the staff who made sure everyone glasses were topped up and were all very friendly and so good with the families children. Cannot recommend this venue enough.
We love it here, have visited a few times and the menu is great, the lamb wellington my partner had was delicious i had to try some and my vegetarian dish was awsome, im not a vegetarian but i do often order meatless meals, the pork popcorn with apple sauce appetiser was great, all washed down well with a refreshing rhubarb Gin and ginger ale, every time we go the menu is slightly different which is great im a super fussy eater but i can always find something to eat and its always amazing, we have never had to wait too long for our food, the servers have never forgotten about us, great service thanks everyone at The Church for our fantastic meal, we'll be back in the winter
Where do I start, food was out of this world, service was exceptional, staff were very helpful & informative, music was perfect, atmosphere was relaxing, sold the experience to my wk colleagues so will be having my Christmas meal there

They do serve Carlsberg. Dooms Bar is in Bottle form.

Another Great meal at the Church Restaurant, this is the 2nd time we have been for Sunday lunch and was even better than the 1st time. We had our wedding reception here in 2015 and wish we could go back more than we do as we love the place. The new owners are continuing the previous work and really expanding the offer. We will be back again soon for Sunday lunch!!
Tried The Church again for a work Christmas Do, after a pretty shocking one a few years ago. Much better this time with a decent vibe, tasty food and lovely ambience. They definitely needed more staff on for such a big night as the food service and bar was slow, but that was my only gripe. 👌
Nice place to have your lunch or coffee. Very quiet in the medle of the day and quite expensive. Everything I had was nice served. The only think I didn't like was the maintain of the toilet (you can't live the spare
toilet paper touching the ground).
