I love this place Brilliant atmosphere and always a good meal. Good quality food and good presentation of food. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable of the food on the menu. This place is also a gem if you are gluten free- They even do gluten free burgers and fish and chips. definitely one iof Northampton's top restaurants in my opinion

Table for six. One of us Has a severe alcohol allergy. Turn up warm welcome friendly staff. As the allergy sufferer I got given a personalised menu where the chef had sat down earlier in the day and highlighted the dishes I could have. This involved him adapting batters and sauces and literally personalising my menu. Hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had with my allergy. To top it off the food was even better than the service. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We have eaten here many times and always had a warm welcome from the family owners, the menu is well balanced and can cater for the pickiest diner, the food was superbly cooked and presented and accompanied by a bottle of red wine served at room temperature, the cookie sundae is to die for. Will defiantly be going back soon.

We had a fantastic Christmas meal last night, and between the group of us most things from the menu were chosen. Everything was absolutely superb, nothing could be faulted. Thank you for making it a wonderful start to our festive season x

Our first experience of The Saracens Head and we couldn't have asked for a better! From start to finish we loved it. Service was fantastic. The staff were perfectly attentive and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. The garden area looked great and the interior decor of the restaurant was cosy and stylish. We will most certainly return very soon. Highly recommend!

Really nice location, the waiter Sam was great. Food was stupendous, I had the pate for starter which was just enough to not ruin the main course, which was pie of the day. On that day it was venison. I cannot understand how the pie pasty was so flakey and light but kept the filling in until you cut into it. The mash potato was silky smooth, the gravy was rich and full of flavour. I'd like to come back and try another pie of the day.

Fantastic little pub, we were so impressed with our dinner we decided to come back a few days later and check out the lunch menu! Would recommend, it's dog friendly. The only thing I would like to see is a cocktail offer or themed nights (steak & bottle of wine) which would make it even nicer.

Nice pub and friendly staff. Really good food and a popular place as well. Worth booking if you want to come here for food as it does get busy. Village is beautiful as well. Highly recommended.

We found this lovely little place in Little Brington through a friends reccomendation. We went on a Sunday as we heard their Sunday roasts are to die for and this was not wrong! You need to book a reservation if coming on a Sunday as they are fully booked and with good reason! Our table had the lamb/beef roasts and also the pie of the day which was pork with pear and parsnip. When the meals came to the table the Yorkshire puddings were almost the size of my head! Huge! But just how a Yorkshire pudding should be! Light and fluffy with a golden crisp. The lamb was cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth and the vegetables were well seasoned and flavoursome to the point my partner ate a parsnip and liked it for the first time in his life! So that’s got to say something for how lovely the food was! The roasts came with roasted vegetables and potatoes but also some side bowls containing red cabbage, greens and cauliflower cheese, all very nice! Despite saying we were too full to move we still found room for sticky toffee pudding and ice cream! Which was lovely! The staff were very friendly and attentive and overall it was a wonderful meal and atmosphere. They are also dog friendly in the bar and have a nice covered outdoor space as well. Would highly recommend checking this place out if you’re passing this way.

Visited for lunch with my mum and dad. The place is cozy and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We were served by Molly and Emma; thank you for a wonderful lunch. The food was first class! We had a baked Camembert and mushrooms starters and I had the pie of the day, which I must say was fantastic- just how pies should be. I highly recommend this place. We arrived not long after opening so we had a choice of tables, but best to reserve - it was definitely popular- even on a Tuesday lunch!

We had a nice time at this pub for dinner, it's a nice old pub in a nice quiet village. The drinks prices were good, however I found the main courses slightly overpriced. The food was good generally, and I would go back here again if I was in the area. The service was good and the range of items on the menu were good. I had the Pigeon starter which was tasty and unique, and then the Italian burger which was tasty with its gorgonzola and also the burger buns were tasty and fresh. The fries were also good.

Just returned from a fantastic Sunday lunch here. We ordered the roast beef and the roast pork. I deliberately chose this pub as on their website they sated that they serve the beef pink and rare - and I was not disappointed! The beef was sensational and the veg and trimmings were perfectly cooked. It came with cauliflower cheese, a green cabbage and and a red cabbage, with potatoes, carrots and a giant Yorkshire pudding. Had to ask for a second jug of gravy as portions were small but it arrived swiftly. Without a doubt one of the best roast beef dinners I've ever had! The crackling that came with the pork was incredibly small, and more of a sliver, but still very tasty. Probably better for the waistline this way but would have been nice if this was a bit bigger. All in all big congrats to the chef and also the serving staff who were very pleasant. In short, the Saracen's Head is an absolute cracker of a gastropub, cannot wait to return and sample more!

In Little Brington. A unassuming little pub, that is very popular for its restaurant class food. Lovely beer garden for when the English weather permits. I have included the road in, and the abandoned church on the corner of Roman Road. Locals were very friendly.

Even from the exterior Christmas decorations this bar/restaurant looked very inviting. Very friendly and the food was excellent. No small portions here! Certainly worth a return visit in the near future.

Fantastic pit stop! We stopped for lunch to break a long journey. The service was attentive but not fussy and the food was delectable. Such a lovely setting. Fantastic menu for all the family. Dogs warmly welcomed. This was a real hit across the board.

The Sunday roast is exceptional and the only meal you will need to eat all day. The dining room is warm and welcoming, the bar is also welcoming and will accommodate your dog. The staff is kind, welcoming and only enhance your experience.

Wow, 2 meals recently, one with a group of friends saying goodbye to our Kiwi mates who are returning after 10 years over here, and then another for just the 2 of us. The service is excellent, the staff always know the menu and specials and can advise accordingly. Highlights recently have been the sea bass fillets, the steaks are always good(although the specials just seem to sell out as I arrive!), and the pork belly. The attention to detail with the sauces, veg and other accompaniments raises this kitchen above other local competitors, and the service and welcome keep it up there. Plenty of free parking, clean toilets and a great outside areas for when it warms up
