Fantastic pub, really welcoming, great atmosphere, lovely clean interior and great garden area too. The food is great and the staff are fantastic too, nothing is too much trouble - would highly recommend this hidden gem of a pub for anything from a quick drink to a private function!

Highly recommend. Mark and Gemma and the rest of the OWH staff were so helpful and friendly when we booked a buffet for our daughters Christening. A lovely calm and relaxed atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all once again :)

A massive thank-you for saving my Valentines night after The Church Restaurant cancelled my table although I had an email confirmation! I went to the restaurant yesterday and I would like to say that the food was delicious! Fantastic flavours and presentations, with a big selection or meats, fishes and desserts!!! Good value of money as well as the price are actually cheap! The staff was taking care us us during the whole dinner and they were very kind and helpful. We will definitely go back there!

We popped for lunch as we were passing by - I had the Vegan Burger - the salsa and guacamole filling was fully loaded and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. Glad to see a number of Vegan options on the menu!

Here for a work meeting, I and several colleagues are vegan, we also have vegetarians and gluten free requirements - this was the lunch I was brought on my own little platter, which was really nice and far in advance of what some other local venues offer. I even forgave the lack of plate 😁 Then in the afternoon break, they even brought out vegan biscuits and treats, which was completely unexpected and a lovely, thoughtful and tasty touch!
We booked for dinner for 14 people. All the food came out together. It was all correct and hot. It has ample parking on site, a fabulous garden seating area and comfortable lounge furniture. We were extremely impressed by the staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they served us perfectly. We will be back. Thank you.
First time I've been to a wedding here, and what a great venue. Hadn't realised the room upstairs was so big. Food was delicious and service good too
Having had a couple of really good meals on the 40% menu on a Tuesday we decided to have our Easter Sunday Lunch here.
Not having a large appetite it was great to have a half portion for half the price. However it was really disappointing to find that the lamb shoulder I had been really looking forward to was presented in a ball of mush. Despite this I have given 5 stars because everything else was cooked to perfection and the service was great. Will definitely return but hope the beef is as good as everything else excluding the lamb.

Nice outdoor area in the Sun, large car park at the back, friendly staff and a super Fish Finger Sarnie.. ohhh the cheesecake is awesome
We've been here before for a Valentine's meal (back in 2016); the food was nothing to write home about but service was good.
We came again for Sunday roast in March 2022 and the food was scrumptious; very accommodating staff, catered to our toddler and in the summer, the garden has plenty of lovely seating. Very nice atmosphere.
