Very tasty food my husband and I enjoyed for a special anniversary two course afternoon tea was delicious. Mine was vegetarian. We had to take a box home as we couldn't finish it all! Such good value!
The Dining Room is consistently fab. A gorgeous family run little tea room, with high end produce used for their two course afternoon tea and lunches. Serving excellent food and wonderful afternoon tea, book before you turn up so as not to be disappointed.
A tour around number 78 is also recommended, the house designed by Charles Renne Mackintosh for Basset Lowke.
What a gem this place is the food was excellent and the service was great. Atmosphere was perfect. The price was inexpensive and would highly recommend it's well worth a second visit to sample some of the other menu items.
Had a cream tea was amazing, two lovley ladies where attentive and nothing was two much trouble,price was really good for the food and drinks we had,highly recommend we will certainly go again very soon😊

A wonderful afternoon tea, a gift from a good friend. The cheese scones were exceptional and a fabulous selection of cakes. Hannah our waitress didn't rush us, and provided take away boxes for the cakes we couldn't manage. Well worth the stroll out of town (3 minutes)
