Good choice of vegan options on top of a solid standard menu.
Reasonably quirky and varied seating options with an outside space.
The staff were friendly and the toilets were clean.
Would recommend and will revisit another time.
Always a delight to eat here. Fantastic coffee, amazing interior and food fresh and tasty. Tapas selection always good. The salt and petter squid is my favourite and I’ve eaten it on 3 different occasions this year. Clean restaurant and friendly staff.
An interesting place, with lots of art on the walls. Looks like replicas of famous paintings, or at least, in the same style. The high ceilings add to the open feel, however there are far too many hanging lights making the ceiling cluttered. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the food is spot on, perfectly cooked burgers, well presented. The Tapas is to be recommended. Good value, and great taste.
We went on a Sunday night and it was fairly quiet. The food was tasty. The tapas is competitively priced, but the portions are really small. The pulled beef chilli was particularly disappointing as it was about 80% accompaniments and 20% beef chilli.
Busy on a weekend... so service was slightly poor but overall was nice! Food is nice! Would go again!
Excellent service dog friendly. Beautiful surroundings. My issue is the prices are a bit expensive for soft drinks. My food was tasty but a bit too oily underneath the noodles for my liking. I will go again and try something else... less oil I hope
Great food, good cocktails and quick service. All staff were friendly and happy to help. Atmosphere was pleasent and tables were well spaced. Would recommend for a nice meal out with friends or family.
First time visiting this establishment definitely won't be the last.

Ordered runny poached eggs and 1st eggs were hard boiled then they tried again second attempt once again hard so didn't try it again as it took so long waiting ...shame suggest they take poached eggs off the menu...
My partner and I are SO pleased we have Ontano Lounge on our doorstep! Dog friendly, great food, super friendly staff who were very quick to point out the water station and treat jar for Lewis (the sleeping looking pooch).
We’ve been back twice now as the food and drinks have been brilliant! Super tasty every time and we’ve been trying different things from sweet to savoury!
A great variety on the menu and the pancakes I had were the fluffiest yet!
Lovely vibe, comfy and tabled seating options with very unique décor! Oh and a lovely seating area out the back!

The e-menu is great if you have allergies or intolerance as you select it and it only shows what you can have without the faff of having to search and try work it out, like the tapas to start, everything good staff very good food quick well presented, we went on a Wednesday which was quizz night but it wasn't too loud or in your face

Called in for food and it was delicious 😋. I had the tapas and my husband had the burger, the service was really good and the food arrived quickly and the presentation was lovely and it tasted great.

The staff here were so good. Very helpful, polite and friendly. We rocked up last minute on a Sunday afternoon with four adults and five children. The customer service was fantastic and the menus are varied and balanced with an excellent choice. The food is great. I wish there were more places like this in the area. I’d like to say a big thank you for being so good with our children who must have absolutely tested your patience and you still made us feel welcome.
Really nice building, they’ve repurposed the bank really well. Staff are lovely, & the food was great.
Menu is limited if you don’t like spicy food, granted it isn’t too spicy but if you’re completely intolerant like me the menu is cut down a lot by things like Spicy Rice without the option of plain.
Definitely worth the visit, my favourite place to eat in Northallerton by a mile.
