Went for a Sunday carvery, the roast sirloin was so tender and cooked perfect nice and pink , they also had well done as well , leg of lamb wast fatty but the skin was nice and crisp. The Yorkshire puddings was light and fluffy. Very good selection of vegetables and nice thick gravy. Service was on point and the landlady had time to explain about the new menu for Fridays and Saturdays. We will call again during the week , if the standards are that high in a Sunday during the eeek will be very good. 5* for everything.

Ok, so... We took our 2 teenage bottomless pits, to try the carvery. The food was absolutely amazing, with a massive amount of meat on each plate, and as much veg as you wanted. THREE of us were beaten back by the food and were unable to finish, and I personally now have an actual food baby!!! This is going to be a regular thing, and I can't recommend highly enough

Just had the pop up fine dining experience and it was a brilliant and well cooked menu, lovely atmosphere with a great singer and very kind and attentive staff. This was a place that feels like everyone working there cares about what they do. Very fairly priced and will definitely be coming back again! Thank you.

The Fleece pub situated on the high street has a beauty little Italian area out of the back it's called Ciao Bella, they have excellent staff and nothing was to much trouble at all every member of staff was very accommodating and friendly, food was really nice too, with very little wait time given the current COVID restrictions. Recommended.

Ate lunch here yesterday with my partner, his mum and my dog. They were able to accomodate us without a reservation (because we'd just left The Golden Lion where the service was terrible, but that's a different review...). There was ample seating and space for all of us--dog included--to spread out. Lunch was great (fish pie, fish and chips, crumble, chocolate lava cake) and the two guys who were working were just really really nice. I also got to cuddle a puppy, so that was an added bonus. Have been here before just for drinks but I think this will be our regular when we're in Northallerton.

Had lovely carvery with our lovely friends who live in Dalton and took us here for lunch. Meat selection was hood and plenty of veg and gravy. Yorkshires were burnt to a crisp, but everything was delicious x
