You can't get fresher as animals in field, great service and you must try the buffalo burgers :) also can sort various treats for your dogs so win win, also have a good variety of stuff on sale from huge eggs to wild boar, well worth a visit.
Fresh buffalo meat is sold here along with other many goods. There'll be slight delay to get the beef. But the service and communication is very nice. Farm tour is also available for £3.
Great selection of fresh buffalo, beef, chicken and pork, plus lamb and sometimes goat. Great prices for the quality of the produce. Check out the freezer fur reduced packs of frozen meats, burgers, sausages and offal. There's also a brilliant shop selling all sorts of Asian noodles, spices, sauces and the like. So if you want to cook a buffalo larb, buffalo curry or crying tiger steak (plus a host of other dishes) head over to Langthornes.

I've just come back from a walking holiday in the area. We went once at the beginning of our stay and loaded up on meat. It was good enough (and good value enough) that we came and loaded up our freezer bags with more before we returned home.
Things we ate that were delicious:
- a black pudding and marmalade sausage roll the size of a child's arm. It cost £1.90! Scotch eggs were similarly huge and well priced..
- The best steak and kidney pies I've ever paid for.
- excellent, stinkily well-hung ribeye steaks
- similarly well aged Barnsley chops
- a buffalo fillet, which they do not age - see below - but it was nonetheless really tasty.
We bought many of the same things to take back. What is available is slightly pot luck, so in the absence of the barnsley chops, I bought some fine-looking mutton chops, beef short ribs and some buffalo shin for stewing. I don't know what these taste like yet, but I have high hopes!
The farm (in particular, the buffalo side of things) caters to (and the shop is staffed by) the local Asian community. This means that the buffalo is not matured at all. I assure you that the fillet we ate was delicious. This also has an effect upon the contents of the rest of the shop. Do not think you will be able to buy local jam and fancy olive oil. Do go there if you need ghee or, I don't know, enormous sacks of basmati rice. Definitely buy their meat!
Beautiful location. Refrigerated meat(buffalo). The proprietor's sarcastic comments were not palatable but the lady at the till was very helpful.
Excellent and knowledgeable service. Good range of fresh pies and meats and reasonably priced.
So far we have only tried the steak pie and Cornish pastie and both have been excellent. Will post reviews of the meat in due course.
Nothing is too much trouble/effort at this farm cutting meat to the size you want even spoke to a pig farmer who had just delivered fresh goose eggs, i may even be having some of his pork for my sunday dinner.(its not just buffalo meat they sell) the steak pies are a must have they also sell a wide range of asian foods sauces etc

Langthornes shop is a hidden gem for all those that can't find the ingredients for oriental cooking, its got loads of stuff you can't find in town. Its well worth a visit. And the meat selection is good especially for the bbq.

If you would like to buy good quality Buffalo meat this is the best place. You will not get your order quickly, should expect some delay as he preparing the meat according to your order in front of you. 👍
Great place we discovered, an amazing selection of meat, fantastic value sausages and the buffalo burgers were honestly some of the best burgers I've ever had! Will definitely be going here again :-)
Wonderful Farm, best for buffalo meat, pork and south Indian items like cassava ( tapioca) pappadam, pickles, chips, plumcakes etc . Its a family run business, very friendly people. They got a lot of keralite customers ( buffalo eaters😂)
