Just had a small Cod & Chips and it was spot on!
Nice sized fish, lovely white meat and batter not greasy. Fat chips (normally I prefer thin) we’re very tasty and again not greasy but reasonably crispy.
Feeling nice and full and pleased i didn’t get the large fish as often they’re just too big!
I’ve tried Bradley’s and White Horse and these were the best by far. And a better price too at just £6.20.

Popped in for lunch as a nearby pub hadn’t processed our reservation. The decor is very conventional modern pub. However the food was excellent as was the service. £44 for 3 meals with drinks, great value too. We’ll definitely visit again.
Met up with some old friends and decided on having a meal.
Unfortunately the fish pie had been sold out, so we opted for the fish and chips.
Glad we did, they were absolutely delicious.
The only drawback was that the portion was huge!!!!
All in all, we'll worth the money. Will definitely be paying another visit. 👍👍👍
Called in with my family for a lunch break from shopping. What a lovely place. The staff are very friendly and the food delicious I had small fish and chips the perfect size. The fish was white as white and the batter lovely and crispy. The chips were crispy and ungreasy and to top it all real! Mushy peas.
Stayed at Katch recently on a Saturday night to visit family. Well positioned in the town centre for local shops and amenities etc. Warm welcome from staff who took me up to the room to show me where it was. They also explained how late the bar would be open and that we may hear noise in the early hours when the nearby nightclub closed. Heard some singing but wasn't too bad as we were on the top floor. Didn't need to use the ear plugs provided!
The whole building was nice and clean and smelt lovely. Room and bathroom were spacious and the shower powerful with plenty of hot water. Will definitely stay again if need be, oh and the cocktail menu in the bar downstairs is extensive and the ones we tried were delicious 😋

Excellent. We had a very peaceful and enjoyable night. Rooms are very nice with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable. It is situated in the High Street, very convenient for all the town shops and amenities. Lovely restaurant as well, specialising in seafood. Fantastic fish and chips. Highly recommended.
Didn't stay in the rooms so can't comment on those,my wife's relatives had a family get together here..The buffet food was spot on and the place itself was very well presented the fish and chips served here looked amazing too.
Right in the heart of town.
My room was huge, the bed was very comfy, the bathroom was large and the shower was really good.
Check in was easy with friendly staff.
Went here for a quick dinner with friends, the fish and chips were beautiful, loads for your money.

Cocktails and food are as good as anywhere in Town, decent choice of Lager and beer (usually one cask) . Very nice surroundings . We eat and drink here a lot
Good food from a very inventive menu. The crab salad was excellent as were the sweet potato fries.

We called in for a couple of drinks en route to dinner.
Firstly it looks like a small establishment from the outside but it is actually huge inside , decor is nice , staff pleasant, prices average plus outdoor seating area in a good location.
Lovely clean, stylish rooms, albeit with rather cramped bathrooms. Staff lovely and helpful, handy restaurant. Could benefit from a vending machine or something for late night supplies.
Restaurant very quiet. Food hot and well presented. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Stayed in the hotel rooms above the bar, very comfy with a king size bed, really nice room. Had food at lunch as well, my choice was the parmo and it was excellent.
