We visited today for Sunday lunch and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a party of 11 people (including 6 children) and everyone enjoyed their food. Good variety of dishes on the menu and great prices. My husband is vegan and there was nothing on the menu for him but I messaged the day before we were booked in and got a message back quickly saying to give them a call. My husband phoned and spoke to the chef who was very helpful and he made him a vegan curry which he enjoyed! The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble! Thank you!
Visited today for Sunday lunch. There were 9 of us. Everything from the service we received from the staff to the standard of food was excellent. Would definitely recommend the Arden Arms to anyone. We will be back. Well done.
We had a large party at the Arden Arms on 5th November. It was a suprise for my birthday. I would like to thank the chef for the great food which everyone enjoyed, and all the staff for your service. You are a great team and we will be back. (In smaller numbers) . Also thank you for your patience as I gather it was not the easiest event to organise. Thank you to you all and Tracey Davison xx

Tasty, good portions, great prices. We ordered takeaway, Sunday roast, loads of veg and the Yorkshire pudding is one of best we had.
Went to a 60th party, and the staff are absolutely brilliant and Allan made everyone welcome, good food, lovely atmosphere, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes, friendly, professional service, thanks to Gary and family also x j

Great food, lovely staff, nothing is too much trouble !
5 of us and a big dog dropped in on the off chance of getting served a meal at 4.30, spoke to a really nice friendly gentleman behind the bar, not a problem and pointed out two choices of tables to be seated.
We all felt warm and welcome, even the dog was given a bowl of water, which was extremely thoughtful.
Ordering our meals, amongst us one a vegan and another lactose intolerant was a breeze as the said gentleman was so kind and took his time to listen, a really lovely man !
The meals were all outstanding, fresh and plentiful, the level of service was excellent, all the condiments we needed and our drinks replenish.
Such a lovely atmospheric pub.

Best Sunday lunch in these parts. Lots of space and good service. Excellent range of beers and wines. Nice terrace to enjoy the sunshine. Reasonably priced. Great pint of Black Sheep.
Great range of beers and cider/lager on tap and very friendly bar/restaurant.
Enjoyed a couple of beers while I waited for my take away curry...noted they have a curry night coming up soon planning to book a table and spend more time at The Arden Arms...Cheers
The nicest meal I have had in many a year. I had a chicken pathia and my wife had cod wrapped in Parma ham. We also stayed here via the britstop motorhome site. Lovely pub it's well worth a visit.

Just spent an amazing night at a private party. Whole venue booked out for the evening, lots of friendly helpful staff and fabulous service. Plenty of parking and a lovely rural setting. Absolutely recommend!

The food was excellent! Huge portions. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed as Sunday lunch became busier but they couldn't do enough to help and anything we wanted was no problem. The dining area felt a little too close to the bar and the entrance.
Best Sunday lunch menu I've seen locally in a long time. Lovely meal, great quality. Excellent service from the lady who looked after us, and really good value also. Booked again for this weekend. Nice to see this place on the up again.
Lovely atmosphere. Great range of gin and wine. Even though vegan options are not mentioned on the menu you just have to ask and the chef is very very accommodating. Could not fault the quality of the food.
Excellent country lounge restaurant with a separate bar with TV and games to include a real fun crazy golf course outside. The staff are friendly and efficient and it is at the top of my list for best food, real ales and quality wines in the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire. Well worth a visit!
Excellent meals and ambience. Staff are superb. Since reopening The Arden Arms never disappoints. If you've a special event this is the place to be. Even if its just a really good meal you're wanting this is still the place to be!

As with every dining place I am particular about parking and parking here is free for the duration of your stay - so 👍🏽.
One bit though that you may want to be aware of - the meals might be a bit pricey. 😬. But I reckon that comes with the business model.
Anyway, I'll definitely recommend here.
