Stayed here overnight during iur visit to the Dales. It was just close enough. The pub was nice with friendly staff and good food. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, good value for money. Great pie!
Great food and a lovely pub, perfect roast dinner and if you don't like veg Evan better as they bring out the veg out in separate bowls
Fantastic little gem . There are 3 chalets at the rear of the pub away from the noise of the road and pub , so very quiet. Very clean, and spacious, we had the family room , bed comfortable , lovely shower & bathroom, a room with a cot wardrobe, and Chester drawers , and out door space with table

Bartender and kitchen were very helpful, and accommodated our menu requests. Steak was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely superb lamb roast dinner, friendly bar staff, lovely pub, thoroughly enjoyable first visit.
Sunday lunch was brilliant. Fresh battered mushrooms & homemade garlic mayo. The roast lamb was plentiful, lean and extremely tender. Didn't need a knife !!! Neither of us could manage a sweet. Staff were efficient and attentive but we're were certainly not rushed. Recommend it !!!

Best food I've had for a long time. Real old fashioned country pup. As it should be. The portion and the quality of food is just second to none. Hidden gem, friendly relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait to come again

Had lunch here, amazing, the chips were home made and cooked to perfection, the steak pie was brimming with large cubes of lean beef that just melted in your mouth, served with chips and fresh veg, my friend had the vegetarian quiche, also amazing! You really can't knock this place for portion sizes! The creamy garlic mushroom starter with cheesy 'croutons' was practically a main meal with loads of mushrooms in a bucketful of sauce. The slices of french bread with melted cheese would be croutons for a giant!.

The food was absolutely delicious. What a marathon of an eat but my word worth it. Huge portions of proper pub grub. Fantastic environment lovely pub and the staff were very friendly. Cant wait to go back, I'm having the steak pie this time.

Great food. Went for Sunday dinner with the parents last week very nice .could done with more veg. Went again Bank holiday Monday with the parents again. Had 2 ribeye streaks and 1 rump steak. Cooked to perfection best steaks we've had in along time. Great service will be back again
