Fantastic cafe & restaurant. The owners and staff are magnificent, they have all become good friends.
Me & my wife have been coming to the cafe for about 5 years.

It's a lovely place and inexpensive, the food was good and the staff very friendly.That was two days ago.There is an advert for whisky marmalade near the till. I asked for some and was told they had run out but would be making some more the next day. I went back the next day and bought some. It was
Nice little tea room just set off the high Street good food and drink for a good price would recommend for all. Menu was good to for a tea room.
Homemade fruit scones with butter plus tea, Victoria sponge slice plus milkshake - superb baking, extremely tasty beverages, fantastic service and very reasonable prices. If you are visiting Northallerton this is the place for a snack or a great meal. Shame could only give 5* 👌
Excellent breakfast panini and filter coffee. Very friendly service.
Sadly this place is closing down due to retirement I think. I will miss it.

We where told about this little gem of a place by some friends. Totally fab. We usually go to Betty's when in Northallerton but this place is just as good I'd you don't want all the frills and a fraction of the price. Always busy though.
Lovely delicious full English breakfast. Covid secure. Wait outside until shown to table, undercover so kept dry. Lovely friendly staff. Looking forward to visiting again

Always the bext service, the best food & best value in town. Can't wait until it re-opens again for eating in. Can't recommend Garthway Tea Rooms enough ☺

Gorgeous homemade food.. you get a lot for your money and service is excellent as always.
